Anne Féchy Dartey is above all a painter, in her outlook, in her life and in her art. She is a natural painter.

Destined for a university career as the culmination of a course in classical philosophy, her need for creativity and knowledge led her to a dual vocation as an artist and a specialist in Ancient Arts.

As far as she remembers, she has always been a painter. Painting is her universe, Humor her strength, Art her vital expression. Her pictorial work, uses the most refined materials of Western oil painting, buts finds its revelation into the breath and participation to the universe movements.

Her passion for oil painting finds its roots in admiration for Italian painting technical and translation of light, her spirit of artist is recharged by the Chinese landscape painters of the Yuan to Ming Dynasties, but also and principally in the knowledge of Qi and emptiness theory as into the global Chinese artistic and philosophical approach.

Let's discover this original universe
