Nostos is launching a 10-day intensive directing laboratory in the Tuscan countryside, led by filmmaker, educator, and author Rob Spera. The workshop: The Spoken and Unspoken Languages of Film and Television Directing, is designed to help directors deepen their skills in visual storytelling, actor direction, staging, shot design, and cinematic language. Drawing on Rob Spera’s extensive experience across film, television, theatre, and directing education, participants will engage in practical exercises, scene analysis, camera work, shot-list creation, and actor-focused directing techniques.
