چهار تابلوی رنوار در کان-سور-مر ربوده شد

بامداد سه‌شنبه ۸ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۶، دو نفر با بریدن حصار موزه‌ی رنوار در کان-سور-مر وارد شدند. آژیر ساعت ۵:۴۸ به صدا درآمد و پلیس ۵:۵۳ رسید — اما کار در کمتر از پنج دقیقه تمام شده بود.

چهار پرتره از یک اتاق برداشته شد: «مادام استفن پیشون»، «مادام کولونا رومانو»، «زن جوان در کنار چاه» و «کوکوی در حال خواندن». دو تابلوی نخست هنگام فرار در باغ رها و بازیافت شد؛ دو اثر دیگر همچنان مفقودند.

شهردار ارزش آثار را نه میلیون یورو برآورد کرد. پرونده به دادسرای گراس رفته و بخش جرایم سازمان‌یافته تحقیقات را بر عهده دارد. این موزه در ۱۹۶۰ در آخرین خانه‌ی پیر-آگوست رنوار (۱۸۴۱–۱۹۱۹) گشوده شد.

Four Renoirs Stolen in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Two intruders cut through the fence of the Musée Renoir before dawn on Tuesday 8 September 2026. The alarm sounded at 5:48 a.m. and police arrived at 5:53 — the job was already done, in under five minutes.

Four portraits were taken from a single room: Madame Stephen Pichon, Madame Colonna Romano, Jeune femme au puits and Coco lisant. The first two were dropped in the garden during the escape and recovered; the other two are still missing.

The mayor put the loss at nine million euros. The case is with the Grasse prosecutor's office and France's organised-crime division. The museum opened in 1960 in the last home of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841–1919).

Javad Mojabi, Prominent Iranian Poet, Writer and Critic, Dies

Javad Mojabi — writer, poet, satirist, painter, and literary and art critic — died on Saturday in Tehran after an illness. Born in Qazvin in 1939, he published more than seventy works of poetry, fiction, satire, and criticism over a six-decade career, including *The Lost Garden* and a study of Ahmad Shamlou. Honargardi remembers a writer and critic whose sharp wit shaped Iranian literature and visual art for decades.

Tony Gatlif, French-Algerian Filmmaker, Dies at 77

Tony Gatlif (1948–2026), the French-Algerian director whose films — Gadjo Dilo, Latcho Drom, Exils — gave voice to Roma culture on screen, has died at 77 in Arles, France. Honargardi remembers a filmmaker who turned exile and identity into poetry. Latcho Drom — safe travels.

Persian Architect and Designer Keyvan Khosrovani Dies

Keyvan Khosrovani, the distinguished Iranian architect, designer, and cultural figure, has died.

Born in Tehran in 1938, Khosrovani studied architecture at the University of Tehran and continued his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Alongside his architectural and cultural work, he served for many years as the designer of Empress Farah Pahlavi’s official wardrobe, incorporating Iranian textiles and traditional craftsmanship into his creations.

His decades-long career spanned architecture, interior and fashion design, historic preservation, and the promotion of Iran’s artistic and cultural heritage.

Keyvan Khosrovani, architecte, créateur et figure marquante de la culture iranienne, est décédé.

Né à Téhéran en 1938, il étudia l’architecture à l’Université de Téhéran avant de poursuivre sa formation à l’École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts à Paris. Parallèlement à ses activités dans l’architecture et la culture, il fut pendant de nombreuses années le créateur de la garde-robe officielle de l’impératrice Farah Pahlavi, mettant notamment à l’honneur les textiles et l’artisanat traditionnels iraniens.

Son parcours, qui s’étend sur plusieurs décennies, réunit architecture, décoration intérieure, création de mode, sauvegarde du patrimoine historique et promotion de la culture et des arts iraniens.

درگذشت کیوان خسروانی، معمار و طراح برجسته ایرانی

کیوان خسروانی، معمار، طراح و از چهره‌های برجسته فرهنگ و هنر معاصر ایران، درگذشت.

خسروانی، زادهٔ ۱۳۱۷ در تهران، دانش‌آموختهٔ معماری دانشگاه تهران و مدرسه عالی ملی هنرهای زیبای پاریس بود. او در کنار فعالیت‌های معماری و فرهنگی، سال‌ها طراحی پوشاک رسمی شهبانو فرح پهلوی را بر عهده داشت و با بهره‌گیری از پارچه‌ها و صنایع‌دستی ایرانی، نقشی مهم در معرفی و احیای هنرهای سنتی ایران در طراحی معاصر ایفا کرد.

آثار و فعالیت‌های او، از معماری و طراحی داخلی تا مد، حفاظت از میراث تاریخی و ترویج فرهنگ و هنر ایران، بخش مهمی از کارنامهٔ چند دهه فعالیت حرفه‌ای او را تشکیل می‌دهد.

Yayoi Kusama (1929–2026)

Yayoi Kusama has died at the age of 97. Her studio confirmed that she passed away on 14 August at a hospital in Tokyo, of multiple organ failure; the news was made public this week.

For seven decades she turned obsession into form — the Infinity Nets, the dotted pumpkins, the mirrored rooms that dissolve the viewer into endless light. She called art a means of survival, and she made that survival into one of the most widely seen bodies of work of our time.

Reports: Iranian Painter Mohammad Ebrahimi Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

Mohammad Ebrahimi, an Iranian painter and graduate of the Painting program at the University of Science and Culture in Tehran, has reportedly been sentenced to a total of 20 years in prison.

The sentence was first reported by United Students (Daneshjooyan-e Mottahed) and was subsequently carried by Iranian media and human-rights organizations.

Ebrahimi has reportedly been detained since January 2026. He was initially held in Evin Prison and was later transferred to Greater Tehran Prison.

گزارش‌ها از صدور حکم ۲۰ سال حبس برای محمد ابراهیمی، هنرمند نقاش، حکایت دارند

بر اساس گزارش‌های منتشرشده، محمد ابراهیمی، هنرمند نقاش و دانش‌آموخته مقطع کارشناسی رشته نقاشی دانشگاه علم‌وفرهنگ، به مجموع ۲۰ سال حبس محکوم شده است.

خبر صدور این حکم ابتدا از سوی «دانشجویان متحد» منتشر شد و پس از آن شماری از رسانه‌ها و نهادهای حقوق بشری نیز آن را گزارش کردند.

محمد ابراهیمی از دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴ / ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ در بازداشت به سر می‌برد. بر اساس گزارش‌های موجود، او ابتدا در زندان اوین نگهداری و سپس به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شده است.

با این حال، بخش‌های مهمی از پرونده او هم‌چنان روشن نیست.

One of the most distinctive voices in the history of Persian music, Iraj was a prominent figure in the legendary Golha radio programs and an unforgettable voice of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema. His extraordinary vocal power and distinctive style left a lasting mark on generations of listeners.

حسین خواجه‌امیری، خواننده نامدار موسیقی ایران که با نام هنری #ایرج شناخته می‌شد، امروز چهارشنبه ۲۱ مرداد ۱۴۰۵ (۱۲ اوت ۲۰۲۶)، در نودوچهارمین سال زندگی درگذشت.

ایرج از برجسته‌ترین صداهای تاریخ موسیقی ایران و از چهره‌های ماندگار برنامه «گل‌ها» و موسیقی سینمای پیش از انقلاب بود. صدای قدرتمند و شیوه آوازی ویژه او، بخشی ماندگار از حافظه موسیقایی چند نسل از ایرانیان است.
