Black Design Collective is an organization of black designers expressing individual unique design excellence. The organization aims to bring awareness of the history and relevance of the global impact of black design through resources, mentorship, e-commerce platform, and business platforms.
Had a great conversation with as we prepare for FLAIR 2019 . She is an honoree and featured designer who is helping to bridge the gap for experienced and novice fashion brands through . We are proud affiliate members and look forward to bring a part of the conversation.

A fashion industry icon and trailblazer 🙌🏾💜 ⠀⠀
We honor Eunice Johnson’s legacy as fashion show producers for FLAIR 2019 Charitable “The Jazz Age of Fashion.” It is truly an honor to walk in her footsteps and we plan to execute a dynamic show!
Eunice Johnson in her office at Johnson Publishing Company, 1970. Johnson, wife of the founder of Ebony, Jet, and other publications, saw in fashion a way to celebrate black beauty and black women. The Fashion Fair runway shows traveled across the country in black churches, halls, and other places rented to show off the latest styles on the most glamorous models.
