Marius Bø is a Norwegian artist whose sound emerges from the intersection of nature, ritual, and collective experience.

Co founder of the Oslo based collective Ute, his musical roots trace back to gatherings deep within Norwegian forests, where sound systems met trees and bodies moved in open air communion. Since 2017, Ute has developed a singular identity, cultivating a devoted following through its psychedelic approach to trance, as well as extended downtempo and ambient explorations via its sub labels Sinensis and Translusid.

Marius Bø’s sets unfold as immersive journeys, shaped through long form narratives and subtle shifts in tension. Blending psychedelic atmospheres with deep hypnotic structures, he navigates across tempos and textures with precision, connecting archival records to forward thinking soundscapes. Ambient, IDM, trance or techno coexist seamlessly, guided by an instinctive sense of flow.

From mist covered forests to intimate basements and open horizons, his music adapts while retaining a distinct signature, organic, fluid, and deeply transportive. Each set becomes a space where perception softens and time stretches.

Across clubs and festivals, from secluded landscapes to iconic dancefloors, Marius Bø continues to trace a path that is both grounded and elusive, rooted in experience yet constantly evolving.

VRIL is a German artist moving at the outer edges of electronic music, shaping a language where texture and emotion dissolve into one another.

Since Torus (2014, Giegling), his work has unfolded as a continuous exploration, a constellation of releases rooted in the idea of sound as a subconscious imprint. From UV (2011, Ostgut Ton) to Anima Mundi (2018, Delsin), his music drifts between states, dystopian, fragile, luminous, always suspended between function and abstraction.

With Saturn is a Supercomputer (2024, Omnidisc), a broader and more intricate spectrum emerges, extending his sonic language into deeper, more expansive territories.

Through an intimate relationship with his machines, .VRIL crafts sonic landscapes that feel both familiar and elusive. Not tracks, but impressions. Fragments that seem to exist just beyond memory.

On the dancefloor, his sound translates into a quiet intensity. Rhythms that pull rather than push, unfolding gradually before reaching something deeply physical.

Beyond the club, he explores other forms, ambient concerts, live improvisations, open ended collaborations. Alongside projects such as Out of Place Artefacts with Rødhåd, and ongoing dialogues within STOOR and Sebastian Mullaert’s Circle of Live, he continues to expand an ever evolving universe.
