Aux frontières du réel 🔮En écho à l’exposition « Aux frontières du réel », le cycle « Penser critique » vous invite à questionner la place de l’invisible et des croyances dans notre société. Entre phénomènes dits « paranormaux », miracles, théories étranges ou thérapies ésotériques, comment démêler le vrai du faux ?

Mardi 5 mai 2026 à 18h30 à la bibliothèque Part-Dieu, avec le Dr Richard Monvoisin, didacticien des sciences et spécialiste de l’analyse critique de ces sujets, plongez dans l’étude des rêves prémonitoires, des guérisons miraculeuses, de la cryptozoologie, ou encore de l’effet placebo.
Son objectif ? Affûter notre esprit critique pour faire des choix éclairés, sans jugement mais avec curiosité.

OPEN CALL | Sleeping Beauties

A multi-residency programme on collective care in Romanian balneary resorts

A new open call has been launched for [Sleeping Beauties], a residency programme conceived and developed by EUNIC Romania, together with six cultural institutions operating in Romania – British Council Romania, Centrul Ceh (Czech Centre Bucharest), Goethe-Institut Bucuresti, Instituto Cervantes de Bucarest, Institutul Polonez / Instytut Polski w Bukareszcie and Fundația9 I BRD, each engaged in supporting one residency in a Romanian spa town. The project was shaped by this consortium of European partners, in collaboration with curator Ilinca Păun Constantinescu.

Open call details
The residency covers travel costs from the selected applicant’s country of residence (up to 500 Euro), accommodation within the premises of the host organisation and some meals, a fee of 700 EUR and a 300 EUR production budget.

Who can apply: Interdisciplinary and performative artists, architects (including landscape architects and historians), filmmakers, researchers, designers and makers, community organisers, and socially engaged practitioners interested in heritage, wellbeing, ecology, public space, and the regeneration of balneary resorts.

Eligibility: citizens or permanent residents from Czech Republic, UK, Germany, Poland, Spain, and Romania

Period of residencies: Two (2) weeks at various dates between July to September 2026

Place of residencies: balneary resorts across Romania
Submission deadline: 21st of May 2026

EUNIC – European Union National Institutes for Culture – is Europe’s network of national cultural institutes and organisations, with 39 members from all EU Member States and associate countries.
