It is that time of the year again.... Audition time.
Our Cinderella script is now complete...
Auditions are on Wednesday 6th May, 14h in Pieusse (main salle de fête).

On a cold January day, a group of brave Troubadours set out to perform a short, bilingual version of their recent pantomime, The Adventures of Dick Whittington. As they warmed up and got into costume, a few nerves crept in. How old would the children be? Would they enjoy it? Would they join in?

As it turned out, there was nothing to worry about. The children, aged from three to eleven, absolutely loved it. There were only a couple of tears - and a few laps sought for comfort - when Silus (or was it F***y?) made an appearance.

We left with some brand-new fans, and delighted parents and teachers - especially after the School Director received a kiss from F***y. We loved it too: what a wonderfully responsive audience! Would we do it again? Oh yes, we would.

Les Troubadours are throwing open the doors for an Open Afternoon on 4th March, and you’re warmly invited! Pop along to meet some of our lovely members and have a relaxed chat about what getting involved is all about.

Whether you fancy being on stage, working behind the scenes, helping with tech, front of house, painting, costumes - or any of the many other roles - we’d love to tell you more. Come and say hello, enjoy a cuppa, and see where you might fit in.

The Troubadours are hosting a quiz night – always a hugely popular event! With questions in both English and French, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring along your French friends too. You can enter as a team of up to six people, or come on your own and we’ll place you in a team. Join us for a fun-filled evening while helping to raise funds for our next production.
