Grant Entertainment

A little behind the scenes from our Grant Entertainment writers retreat in Wimberley. ❤️

These are the kind of days that remind us why we do what we do. Getting our artists and songwriters in the same room, stepping away from the day-to-day, sharing stories, creating together, and getting to know the people behind the music.

It’s important to us at Grant Entertainment to make room for these connections to happen. Because this business is about so much more than shows, schedules, and songs. It’s about the relationships we build, the creativity we encourage, and the community we’re growing together.

Getting to create these moments for our artists and songwriters is something really special to us. And getting to do it in a place as beautiful as Wimberley makes it that much sweeter.

So grateful for this crew, the talent in that room, and all the music still to come. ❤️🎶

Some days just hit a little different. ❤️

We started the day gathered together for a writing retreat, sharing stories, ideas, and the kind of creativity that reminds you why you love this business in the first place. And we ended the day at one of the most iconic places in Texas — the Devil’s Backbone Tavern — for a night we won’t soon forget.

The Devil’s Backbone Songwriter Revue was something truly special. A magical setting, incredible songs, and a room full of people who love this music as much as we do.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Grant Entertainment family of artists and songwriters. Watching these incredibly talented people share their gifts, their stories, and their hearts was a reminder of just how lucky we are to be part of this community. This is what it’s all about. The songs, the stories, the friendships, and the moments that bring us all together. 🤍

It was such an honor to bring this night to life at a place with so much history, character, and soul. Some places just have a magic of their own, and the Backbone is absolutely one of them.

A very special thank you to our friends and partners at Devil’s Backbone Tavern for welcoming us in and helping make this night so memorable, and to Mitch Ballard and BMI Austin for being part of something so meaningful. We’re grateful for the people who believe in this music, support these songwriters, and help create spaces for nights like this to happen.

Our hearts are full, our gratitude runs deep, and we’re already smiling thinking about it all over again.

Thank you to everyone who came out, listened, sang along, and made this night what it was. We’ll be talking about this one for a long time. ❤️🎶

🎸 THE FEATURE ROUND.

The Headliners may have kicked things off, but the Devil’s Backbone Songwriter Revue is built around something bigger: bringing together generations of songwriters, artists and stories in one legendary Texas room.

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on four incredible artists who are part of that story:

⭐ KYLIE FREY
⭐ DAVID ADAM BYRNES
⭐ SCOTTY ALEXANDER
⭐ JESSEE LEE

Four distinct voices. Four different stories. And four artists bringing their own experience, songwriting and perspective to the Revue.

From Kylie Frey’s Louisiana-rooted country sound to David Adam Byrnes’ traditional-country influences, Scotty Alexander’s Texas country storytelling and Jessee Lee’s singer-songwriter approach, this is exactly what makes a songwriter revue special: different artists, different roads, one room where the songs take center stage.

The Revue was created to celebrate the writers and artists who have helped build the music community, those carrying it forward today, and the ones coming up behind them. Devils_Backbone_Songwriter_Revu…

And if you think yesterday & today’s announcements were good… we’re still not done. 🔥
