Most trips up the East Coast start with a rough plan, but they rarely end where you expect. I’ve always enjoyed spending the extra time exploring the less obvious corners, because more often than not, the best waves are the ones you almost didn’t stop to check. It usually means a few wrong turns, almost getting bogged with no reception and trusting your gut.

Honoured to have my work featured in the 400th issue of Surf Session France’s biggest surf magazine.

For this milestone edition, I was asked to share a selection of images from my journey documenting the surfing, coastlines and stories from New Zealand.
After years of chasing swells, driving endless roads, and spending countless hours in the water with a camera, it’s pretty special to see these moments reach an international audience.

A huge thank you to the team at Surf Session for including my work in such an iconic issue.
