FAREWELL, KOSMOS FESTIVAL 2026, YOU WERE GOOD TO US!
Thank you to every artist, performer, visual artist, volunteer, production team, and visitor who keep making Kosmos a magical place!
The 11th Kosmos is lingering behind us, and this year, what really made us happy was how well everything worked together, especially when we gave more and more freedom to individual teams and stages.
We made a conscious choice this year to focus more on quality than quantity. Longer sets and small pauses in the programme gave our production teams valuable moments to prepare well. For visitors, they created opportunities to recharge, explore the stages or simply wander through the forest paths and take in the mesmerising art, decorations and installations created by our wonderful visual artists.
The way people interact with each other in Kosmos is a big part of why there are so few, if any major incidents during the festival. At an event of this scale, that is never something to take for granted. It also reflects the successful collaboration between our production teams and the professionals in security and first aid. The environment is supportive, and constructive criticism is greeted with open minds.
Every Kosmos teaches us something new. We are constantly trying to make everyday festival life a little easier. We also know there are still so many practical things we need to do better, and the feedback we receive will help us improve the next edition. So please, answer our feedback survey found on our website.
After 13 years, Kosmos continues to grow. We grow through new ideas and practical improvements, and also through ourselves. Some people have found the end of their Kosmos flight, while others are just starting it. We see change and let it happen, not sticking to the past.
The stages are quiet again and the forest is returning to its usual rhythm. Still, Kosmos never really ends: we keep on carrying it wherever we go. Hope you hold those pieces as dear as we do.
Much love,
Kosmos Crew ✨
P.S. Next year's dates, applications, ticket info etc. will appear later - as soon as we know!
