IMPORTANT UPDATE

Unfortunately, we have to share the news that LDS () can’t make it to our ADE Sunday event due to illness.

We looked for a proper replacement and are delighted to share that Luca’s close friend and partner will stand in for the dub master. Being label boss of his eponymous label on which LDS’s latest EP algo5 was released, Blue Hour knows his sound all too well.

Blue Hour is known for exploring the corners of techno, trance, and all their sprawling sub-genres through his labels Blue Hour Music and sub label (co-founded with ). He has been steadily releasing work of artists like Alpha Tracks, Mikkel Rev, Oprofessionel, Dold, and of course LDS.

Yet another innovative release from our friends at with ‘RDS Theme’ by . What better way to introduce the record than with words from the man himself:

‘I feel honored to finally present my first EP on de Lichting. All tracks except A1 were made during my COVID-19 quarantine between 8th-19th July 2021 on an EMU E64 and KORG MS2000. With the EP, I tried to cover most of the sounds that I regularly play during my DJ sets. Side A starts with two house cuts, ‘CAL01’ and ‘Emspacer’ inspired by some of my favourite house records, and ends with the electro title track ‘RDS THEME’. Side B, starts with the minimal-ish ‘Substance’, followed by two Ambient Techno/IDM cuts ‘Trapswet’ and ‘Cwejfx’. Personally, I feel that the tracklist reflects the process of being isolated, which on the one hand, enabled me to (finally) work on music without being distracted, and on the other hand, got me into a melancholic mood over time’.

This weekend the 6th edition of will take place in Amsterdam where the theme ‘Mutation’ will be investigated.

Part of the various program, consisting of contemporary audiovisual art, daring conversations and experimental electronic music, is the audiovisual live performance CACHE/SPIRIT, the lovechild of and media artist . CACHE/SPIRIT is a space where studying ‘the self’ and the ‘other’ meets avant-garde audiovisual production. This specific instalment of CACHE/SPIRIT introduces both the artists and their audiences to different languages and instruments e.g Vietnamese and Colombian writings, percussion instruments native to the Maluku Islands and contemporary image production techniques like visually similar image search algorithms and 3D scanning.

FLOW ‘A sea of real-time data’ is one of the latest pieces by Mathieu Le Sourd aka Maotik. The French digital artist focuses on creating immersive multimedia environments, interactive installations, and audiovisual performances.

Produced by the experienced team of .jp , the roster of media artists coming up at this immersive exhibition is looking very promising.

It has almost been two weeks since the world was struck by the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. With our event closing in on March 27th, we are at a moment where excitement and disbelief collide.

We had to look for creative ways to see what we can do to help those who suffer besides just having a voice. We have decided to donate 20% of the revenue from all remaining tickets to ‘The Red Cross’, an organisation that does humanitarian work in Ukraine.

The last tickets are on sale in our ticket shop, next to a new additional donation ‘ticket’ you can buy. The amount collected will be added to the total sum we donate to The Red Cross.

Let’s look out for each other in every way possible 💙💛

Packed with their iconic sound charging full speed underground through frosted moss, fir tree roots, and hyphal networks, Ute Records travels southwards to touch Dutch grounds for the very first time.

The Norwegian trance-infused label will open up their sonic treasure with an uncompromising roster of national talent and international heavyweights. This will take place in the intimate Doka basement on the 27th of March.

‘Location TBA’ () - A photographic publication documenting the outburst of rave culture in Prague between 2015 - 2020.

Through images, interviews, and essays, the book follows the work of several promotional collectives, all interconnected in one way or another and sharing an attitude and aesthetic towards event-making, thus providing an in-depth look into a part of the vibrant local electronic music scene.
