NOVU sijoittuu joka vuosi eri ystävyyskaupunkiin, joita Lahdelle ovat Akureyri Islannissa, Randers tanskassa, Västerås Ruotsissa ja Ålesund Norjassa

Nordisk Venskabbyuge for Ungdom is the continuing cooperation between the mutual twinning cities of Akureyri in Iceland, Ålesund in Norway, Västerås in Sweden, Lahti in Finland and Randers in Denmark involving young people in active participation to

further the Nordic idea. Objectives

The objective of NOVU is to give young people from the twinning cities of Akureyri, Ålesund, Västerås, Lahti and Randers the possibility of participating in Nordic friendship work and co-operation based on active participation in cultural youth activities. The objective is furthermore to strengthen understanding of the Nordic youth cultures and to promote continuity and development in the Nordic twinning project.
