Yes I was there. Yes I participated in their meditation and prayer the night before in Westpoint. Yes I experienced it as an embodiment of Christ’s love, kindness, compassion, humility, joy and peace. Yes I am deeply grateful for their example of those qualities… and the ripple effect they have. Yes we need less judgment and arrogance in the world and more of what these monks are being and demonstrating. Yes it starts with me and you. United in love, we rise! 🕊️ 💕 🌍

Happy Fall Equinox! On this day of reflecting what a more balanced world would look like personally and generally speaking , I pull up behind a car with a sticker of an AK47 and the words “black guns matter”.

How ironic… especially as I have been thinking about all the toxic masculinity/yang energy (that actually manifests in all of us to one degree or another) that many have become
So used to that we have normalized it and some times even so much that we don’t even recognize it. And we even justify toxic means while focusing on a reasonable end as if that’s the most important thing. I feel that this is at the root of so much unnecessary waste, pain and suffering

Sometimes I am angered by this but mostly
saddened and I challenge myself to look at my own imbalances in yin and yang energy… how can I surrender even more deeply to my yin energy as the source of inspiration and intuition that guides my actions in the world (my yang energy) ☯️
