The Seventh Rise: Calling of Saint Yared
In the silence between struggle and surrender, Saint Yared stands at the edge of transformation.
Beneath him, the mountain bears witness to his journey of falling, rising, and questioning. Beside him, a humble creature ascends: the worm, once weak and grounded, now climbing with unwavering persistence. It does not glow at the beginning, for truth is not revealed at the start but through endurance, it becomes light.
In this moment, Yared no longer sees with the eyes of the body, but with the spirit. His ears are opened not to the world below, but to the heavens above. What he hears is not sound, but revelation.
The three birds hover in divine harmony, symbols of the sacred chants yet to be born melodies not learned from man, but received from God.
Clothed in purity and crowned with light, Yared stands between earth and heaven, holding the instruments of worship. Not as a master, but as one who has finally understood:
that greatness is not given it is revealed through perseverance.
This is the moment the struggle becomes song.
This is the moment a man becomes a vessel.
