“ Rise ”
For 38 years, this man lay beside the waters of Bethesda watching others step into healing before him, waiting for a moment that never came.
Then Jesus asked a question that changed everything:
“Do you want to be healed?”
In this painting, I captured the exact moment hope becomes reality.
The moment when weakness turns into strength.
The moment when a man who had forgotten how to walk suddenly rises with joy, disbelief, and gratitude.
His bare feet touching the ground symbolize a new beginning life restored after years of stillness.
The blurred crowd in the background represents the world watching miracles unfold, often unable to fully comprehend them.
This artwork reminds us that sometimes healing does not come from the place we expect
but from a single word of grace.
