So much of what I owe as an artist and human being is to this brother here. Please join me in celebrating Marc Azya’s 50th birthday today 🥂. He is an awesome drummer, cultural advocate, educator and music business and entertainment manager. We met in 2013 at my first Jazz festival as a solo artist in Terrassa, ES and have been connected ever since. Countless shows, tours, familial connections and memories have been made over the years... (!!!)

So today is the day of my birth. So much to say-and to leave unsaid. Life has made a survivor out of me…of things you might never guess. Somehow I am still here, putting one foot in front of the other. May the full story be told while I’m still here.

I am thankful for love. For levity. For all those who continue to hold me in care, those who have been my village, my rock, my laughter, and my diversion.

Today I will rest my mind and find time to reset. Thanks to all who keep me working, singing, writing and thinking. And thank you to my fiancée for all your love, support and friendship over the years. 💫💕

I feel blessed, stronger than ever and extremely grateful.
