Once, you were wild.🐆
🪞Shame is so deeply rooted in our culture that we have learned to live with it as if it were an inseparable part of life.
Shamed for our bodies, our sexuality, our expression, our truth — we buried it deep, so far down that no one could reach it anymore, not even ourselves.
🌚And yet, that hidden shame still lives in every cell of our bodies.
As unspoken words, so we wouldn’t be “too much.”
As a covered body, so we wouldn’t invite unwanted attention.
As a silenced expression, so we wouldn’t offend those who felt disturbed by our power.
🗝️This shame is not yours.
It is the smallness of others who felt uneasy with your strength, your courage, your authenticity.
You have the right to express your femininity in every shade, every movement, every breath.
🐆Dance this shame away.
Shake the anger loose.
Say farewell to the way you’ve seen yourself through the eyes of old, inherited patterns that were never yours.
