Located between Manacor and Felanitx, Mallorca, a unique project providing the perfect location for creatives to visit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Mallorcan countryside, within which to focus on creative activities of many kinds.
Encompassing all the Arts, it provides facility for Painting, Crafts, Design, and Music, as well as Landscaping and Permaculture, with a focus on Sustainability and alternative natural energies.
Not just a location, Studio in the Sun is also a metaphor for the benefits of being able to work outside, the light uninhibited by an enclosed space or building, and celebrating gardening as an art form.
It is also an ideal place for the practice of Yoga and meditation of any kind in the outdoors, and has proven to be equally ideal for Writers or Poets to find focus for their work. Even if you are not an artist or gardener you will find it a most peaceful place to stay and soak up the meditative nature of the location, as it is remote enough to be away from all noise and distraction of busy modern life, yet accessible enough to get to from the nearby city of Manacor (which has a train link to the capital Palma), so can be used as a base for travel around the island, with locations for walking, cycling, and climbing all within easy reach, and not far to travel for visiting neighbouring towns or Mallorca’s famous coastline and beaches.
