🛖 Fantasy
The school year is ending, and the four houses are tied for the Cup. To decide the winner, the teachers announce one final challenge: collect a complete set of Wizarding Cards.
You sneak out with your invisibility cloak to help the Gamekeeper find his collection. But when you reach his cottage, you discover something far more serious. A Ministry wizard is accusing him of being part of a poaching ring trafficking magical creatures.
Can you uncover the truth and save the Gamekeeper before it's too late?
Puzzles 🧩
In the magical world of Harry Potter, it's very difficult to create good, creative puzzles that make sense and aren't analog. Escape Me managed to do this flawlessly. Everything was incredibly satisfying, not only mechanically but also visually. Furthermore, the game features item collecting elements, which ignited my passion for achievements.
Story 📖
While reading the plot, I was skeptical about how one could combine some trivial card collecting with saving a friend. It turned out the creators had a brilliant idea, and the result was a truly magical adventure, reminiscent of the Harry Potter games. We have a main mission that's most important to us, but we're still trying to find as many cards as possible.
Acting 🎭
There are several interactions during the game and what I liked is that our decisions can influence the ending of the story. The live-action scenes are a good complement to the overall adventure.
Decor 🛠️
The decorations are incredibly stunning and beautiful. The immense amount of work and the significant progress (not just visually) that Escape Me has made is evident. The room is really charming. Even though the space is not large, it is well used. True wizards will also be delighted, as many magic tricks await them inside. The multitude of effects and how smooth they are is truly astonishing.
