I wanted to make something for Christmas that still felt very me, so obviously I ended up making flowers... 😉

There are four designs: red hibiscus, white hibiscus, bordeaux anemone and white-green hellebore, all finished with a very fine gold edge and a gold cord for hanging.
You can choose them all the same or mix the designs in sets of 3, 4, 6, 8 or 12.
And yes, hibiscus at Christmas might sound a little unexpected, but I think that's exactly why I like them here 😏

Quería hacer algo para Navidad que siguiera teniendo algo muy mío, así que evidentemente acabé haciendo flores... 😉

Hay cuatro diseños: hibisco rojo, hibisco blanco, anémona burdeos y eléboro blanco verdoso, todos con un borde dorado muy fino y cordón dorado para colgarlos.
Se pueden elegir todos iguales o mezclar los diseños en sets de 3, 4, 6, 8 o 12.

Y sí, un hibisco no es precisamente la flor más navideña del mundo, ahí está la gracia 😏

Apparently, making flowers out of paper is a perfectly normal way to spend my days. 🌸✂️

Cutting, shaping, colouring… and occasionally questioning how many petals one person really needs to make in a lifetime 😅

But if they make someone feel something, I’d say it’s worth it.

Un pequeño jardín silvestre, hecho completamente de papel 🌿

Ana quería que su ramo de novia tuviera un aspecto natural, fresco y un poquito silvestre, con movimiento y muchos pequeños detalles por descubrir.

Margaritas, fresias, delicadas campanillas y pequeños tomatitos se mezclan en tonos blancos, rosas suaves y amarillos, con pequeños toques de rojo y naranja entre el verde.

Cada flor, fruto y hoja está hecho a mano en papel, uno a uno, para crear un ramo que pudiera acompañarla el día de su boda y conservar después.
Un ramo lleno de pequeños detalles, color y ese punto silvestre que hace que parezca recién recogido del jardín.

Ahora tengo curiosidad: entre los tomatitos, las fresias, las margaritas y las campanillas… ¿qué detalle te ha llamado más la atención?

A wild garden, made entirely from paper 🌿
Ana wanted her bridal bouquet to feel natural, fresh and a little wild, with lots of movement and small details to discover.

Daisies, freesias, delicate bell-shaped flowers and tiny tomatoes come together in soft shades of white, blush pink and yellow, with little pops of red and orange among the greenery.

Every flower, fruit and leaf was made by hand from paper, one by one, to create a bouquet that she could carry on her wedding day and keep afterwards.
A bouquet full of tiny details, colour and that slightly wild feeling of flowers freshly gathered from the garden.

Now I’m curious: between the tiny tomatoes, freesias, daisies and bell-shaped flowers… which detail caught your eye?

Chinese lanterns in paper 🧡
One of my favourite things about Physalis is how its lanterns change colour as they ripen, from fresh green through golden yellow and orange to those beautiful, intense autumn tones.

I wanted to capture that transition in these new paper stems, so each one has five lanterns at different stages of ripening. Every piece is cut, shaped and painted by hand, with slightly different shades so that no two lanterns look exactly the same.

Farolillos chinos de papel 🧡

Una de las cosas que más me gustan del Physalis es cómo sus farolillos van cambiando de color a medida que maduran, desde el verde fresco, pasando por tonos amarillos y anaranjados, hasta llegar a esos colores intensos tan propios del otoño.

Quería representar esa transición en estas nuevas ramas de papel, así que cada una tiene cinco farolillos en distintas etapas de maduración. Cada pieza está cortada, moldeada y pintada a mano, jugando con pequeñas variaciones de color para que no haya dos farolillos exactamente iguales.

Flores de papel para una boda con mucho color 🌺
Y esta fue una de esas veces en las que pude llevarlas bastante más allá del ramo de novia.

Para Raquel hice hibiscos y plumerias en distintos tonos de rosa, acompañados de hojas tropicales, y las plumerias se repitieron también en el tocado y el prendido. El otro ramo cambió completamente de registro, con margaritas blancas y pequeñas flores amarillas.

Me gusta especialmente cuando un encargo de boda me permite trabajar varias piezas que tienen relación entre sí, pero sin que todo tenga que ser exactamente igual.
Aunque tengo que decir que sigo teniendo debilidad por esas plumerias rosas 🤍

Paper flowers for a wedding full of colour 🌺 For Raquel’s wedding, hibiscus and plumeria flowers were the stars of her bouquet, in different shades of pink with plenty of tropical greenery.

The plumerias also appeared in some of the smaller details, including the hair comb and boutonniere. And among all those pink flowers, there was room for something completely different: a small bouquet of white daisies and yellow flowers for her mother.

I love wedding commissions that let me create different pieces that still feel connected in some way. Although I have to admit, I still have a soft spot for these pink plumerias 🤍
