A look back at the II International Urban Art Festival .fest with “El ensueño de la Dama Roja” by in Torrelavega.
The mural draws inspiration from the Red Lady of El Mirón Cave, a prehistoric figure from Cantabria whose remains were discovered beneath red ochre pigments nearly 19,000 years old. Reimagined by the artist as a symbol of memory, creativity and spirituality, she holds a flame that illuminates the entrance like a cave mouth, while ancestral animals emerge from the smoke.
A powerful work connecting local prehistory with contemporary imagination, and the first mural of the La Gran Plaza project.
