I’ve burned down parts of my business before and started again.

Most of the time, it’s been quiet.
A slow realisation that something doesn’t feel right anymore.

But one of them?
That was a full blow it up and walk away situation.

Because it had got to the point where I didn’t even recognise what I’d built.

It worked.
It made money.
It looked fine from the outside.

But it felt off.

Draining.
Heavy.
Like I was forcing something that didn’t fit me anymore.

And once you feel that properly, it’s hard to ignore.

So I didn’t.

I walked away, rebuilt, and did it differently… because I wasn’t willing to keep something just because it “worked.”

That’s a trap a lot of women fall into.

Keeping things that make sense on paper… but don’t feel right to live inside every day.

And over time, that’s what drains you.

Now I pay attention much earlier.

To the resistance.
To the shift in energy.
To the bits that feel heavier than they should.

Because that’s usually the sign something needs to change.

Not everything.
Just enough to bring it back into alignment with where I actually am now.

If something in your business feels like that, it’s worth listening to.

If you want to see where things might be off for you, the quiz will show you 🔗

Back in Spain. Back in the sunshine. Back to not dressing like I’m preparing for emotional damage every time I leave the house 😂
(although, to be fair… London behaved this time)

Had a few days back to settle in, and after some proper time with my mum, my nephew, and Nicolae, one thing’s super clear to me:

I want the next season to feel bigger. Not heavier.

And there *is* a difference.

Bigger can mean more visibility, more clients, more money, more reach, more moving parts.

Heavier is when all of that still lands on you in the wrong ways.
More checking.
More chasing.
More mental load.
More being the one quietly holding everything together while everyone else just sort of… participates.

No thanks.

That’s not the version of growth I’m available for.

That little bit of space reminded me the business has to support the life.
The motherhood.
The family time.
The breathing room.
The woman building the whole thing in the first place.

Otherwise… what are we actually doing?

Be honest… are you building bigger right now, or just building heavier? 👇

“Can’t seem to find it” is one of those phrases that tells me everything I need to know.

Because if nobody can find anything, there’s no proper system… and it’s just a group of adults wandering around a backend with a torch.

That might sound dramatic, but it’s exactly how businesses end up wasting time, repeating themselves, and leaning on the same person for everything.

If that feels familiar, start with the quiz.

Working on a weekend… and I don’t even need to be??

No pressure.
No catching up.
No “I should have done this earlier” feeling hanging over it.

I just had a bit of space and thought I’d get a few things done.

That’s it.

And I know that sounds small, but it’s actually not.

Because most weekend work doesn’t feel like this.

It feels like something’s waiting.
Something’s behind.
Something’s about to become a problem if you ignore it.

This isn’t that.

Same laptop.
Very different reason for opening it.

And that difference matters.

If yours never feels like a choice, there’s usually something underneath causing it.

Monday has a way of bringing everything back round.

You open your laptop and it’s like nothing really moved while you were gone 😂.

The thing you parked on Friday is still there.
The bit nobody quite picked up is still there.
The message you already knew you’d have to deal with… still there.

And you haven’t even started yet.

it's not like it's some burn down the business emergency, but it's got that low-level “ugh” before your first coffee.

Because you already know how the day’s going to go.

That’s the part people don’t really talk about. The fact so much of it still ends up back with you.

If that’s familiar, it’s worth looking at.

If that “ugh” feeling hits every Monday, the quiz will show you what’s actually causing it 🔗.

I haven’t opened my laptop all week… because I didn’t need to.

And that, for me, is the real test.

Not how the business runs when I am on it. How it behaves when I am not paying attention every five minutes.

Because there was a time where this kind of trip would have looked very different.

Checking in constantly.

Replying “quickly” and getting pulled back in.

Keeping half an eye on everything just in case something went sideways.

That low-level attachment to the business is exhausting.

And it’s very easy to normalise. Until you have a week where you do not need to do it.

That is when you realise what actually holds… and what used to rely on you more than you admitted.

That’s the shift I care about.

Cleaner.

More solid.

Less dependent on me being everywhere at once.

If your business still feels like it needs you in the background all the time, the quiz will show you exactly where that is happening 🔗

A few days out of your normal routine will tell you more about your business than another month glued to your laptop.

That’s been the biggest thing for me over the past few days.

Between time with my mum, seeing my nephew, keeping Nicolae entertained, and making sure everyone’s fed, I’ve had just enough space to notice what feels solid and what still quietly leans on me more than it should.

Because when things are busy, we get used to compensating.

We fill the gaps.
We answer the question.
We chase the thing.
We fix the bit that should already work.

We do it so quickly we barely register it.

Step away for a minute though, and the truth shows up fast.

What stalled?
What came back to you?
What only felt settled once you looked at it yourself?

Because before things get bigger, those are the things worth paying attention to. Not in a dramatic burn-it-all-down way. In a clean, grown-up, sort-the-obvious-sh*t way.

So that is the takeaway from me this week:

If you want to know where your business still needs work, stop looking at what is loud.
Look at what still depends on you when you are not fully in it.

That will tell you a lot.

When you step back, what gets exposed first? 👀

Happy New Year! 🥳

This is your year. This is your time. This is your chance! 💖

If you’ve been playing small, or worrying, or doubting yourself… then today is THE DAY to write yourself a new story. 👌

I’ve been so quiet on social media, because I felt lost for a huge part of 2023… and that story is coming (along with a lot of other things in 2024 🤫)!

It’s time for us to go big and bring the energy that we each have within us into this new year. ❓Are you with me? 👇

🌪️ Life can get crazy busy, especially for us new mamas! But remember, your work-life balance is precious and worth protecting! 💕

Here are some tried-and-true tips from one new mompreneur on how to juggle🤹‍♀️ life and business like a pro:

1️⃣ Prioritise Tasks: Focus on the most important tasks each day. Make a to-do list and tackle the high-priority items first. Don't forget to include "me-time" in the schedule too!

2️⃣ Delegate & Outsource: You can't do it all, and that's okay! Delegate household chores and consider outsourcing business tasks that aren't your forte. Embrace the power 💪 of teamwork.

3️⃣ Set Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries between work and personal time. Avoid checking emails or taking calls during family 👨‍👩‍👦 moments. Dedicate specific work hours and stick to them.

4️⃣ Embrace Flexibility: Life with a little one is unpredictable (to say the least 🤣), so be flexible in your routines and expectations.
Adaptability is the key to maintaining your sanity.

5️⃣ Self-Care Matters: Take care of yourself, mama! Prioritise self-care to recharge and stay mentally and physically well 💖. Remember, a happy and healthy you benefits both your family and your business.

6️⃣ Learn to Say No: It's okay to decline additional commitments when your plate is already full. Saying no helps you protect your time and focus on what truly matters 🙏.

7️⃣ Celebrate Small Wins: Celebrate every achievement, no matter how small (like actually managing to write a post while they’re sleeping 🤫). Balancing life and business is a journey, and every step forward is worth acknowledging.

Life as a new mompreneur may have its challenges, but with the right mindset and strategies, you can create a brand new blend of family and business life.

Cherish the journey and find joy in the process mama… coz you’ve got this! 🔥😘
