After spending a couple weeks in Romania, this particular on-stage moment had got me thinking; what does it truly mean to have faith?

The Bible talks about faith in various passages but watching Stef and I’s performance, made me think about a particular story in the ninth chapter of the Book of Matthew. The story of the woman who had an incurable disease she had been fighting for years. And she says to herself, “If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed.”

Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” He said. “Your faith has made you well.” (Matt. 9:22)

I can’t help but admire the faith and courage Stef has shown. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, his display of courage and faith is truly remarkable. In fact, this was his first time performing on stage after his diagnosis. After not having the ability to use his voice for a while, he simply did not give up.

Dearest friend, you are truly loved by God. Keep your head up high and look up to Him alone. You’re inspiring so many of us. And know, He’s not done with you. This is just beginning of your story.
