We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Chaz Lindsay to Oxford Uncorked 2026!

A Mississippi native and one of the most exciting culinary talents in the South, Chaz has built an incredible résumé that includes time in some of America’s most celebrated kitchens, including Craft, Colicchio & Sons, and the legendary Eleven Madison Park in New York City. After training at the Culinary Institute of America and spending time cooking in Italy, Chaz returned home to Mississippi with a vision of creating something uniquely his own.

Today, he’s the chef and owner of Pulito Osteria in Jackson, a MICHELIN-selected restaurant that has quickly become one of the state’s most acclaimed dining destinations. Known for handmade pastas, seasonal ingredients, and a style that blends Italian tradition with Southern hospitality, Chaz’s cooking is thoughtful, ingredient-driven, and deeply rooted in place.

What makes Chaz’s story even better? He came home to the Belhaven neighborhood where he grew up and built one of Mississippi’s most celebrated restaurants just blocks from where he rode his bike as a kid.

We’re excited to have Chef Chaz join us this July as we bring together some of the wine world’s most exciting producers, importers, and culinary talent for a day of incredible food, wine, and conversation.

We’re thrilled to welcome Oxford Creamery back to Oxford Uncorked 2026!

If you joined us last year, you probably still remember that unforgettable torched s’mores ice cream—smoky, gooey, nostalgic, and somehow even better with a glass of wine in hand. It was one of the festival’s most talked-about treats, and we’re still thinking about it.

Inspired by an early exposure to some of the world’s great wine estates through his family’s connection to the wine trade, he followed his passion from restaurant floors and wine lists in New York City to a successful career representing some of the most respected producers in the world. After more than two decades in hospitality and wine leadership roles, Rick now brings that experience and deep producer relationships to Grand Cru Selections.

Founded in New York City, Grand Cru Selections has built a reputation as one of the country’s most respected importers and distributors, representing a collection of growers and winemakers whose focus is authenticity, terroir, and craftsmanship. 🍷 WELCOME TO OXFORD UNCORKED, DARREN PALACE! 🍷

We’re thrilled to welcome Darren to Oxford Uncorked and even more excited to have the wines of Sandhi, Evening Land, and Piedrasassi back in Mississippi.

🏡 From Family Traditions to Fine Wine

Raised in northern New Jersey in a close-knit Italian-Irish family, Darren’s appreciation for wine began around the dinner table, where food, wine, family, and tradition came together. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for wine’s unique ability to connect people.

🍇 From Finance to the Cellar

After earning degrees in Finance and Art, Darren followed his passion and made a life-changing decision in 2007, leaving his finance career to help launch Red Hook Winery in Brooklyn. Over six years, he immersed himself in every aspect of winemaking, ultimately serving as Assistant Winemaker and General Manager.

🌎 A Coast-to-Coast Wine Journey

Darren’s career eventually led him west, where he worked in Napa Valley and represented some of California and Oregon’s most celebrated Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers through Failla Wines. Along the way, he built a reputation for creating lasting relationships through wine while helping grow iconic brands nationwide.

Darren serves as National Sales Manager while remaining actively involved in production for Sandhi, Evening Land, Domaine de la Côte, and Piedrasassi. His hands-on experience helped shape the 2020, 2021, and 2022 vintages from these acclaimed wineries.

Please join us in welcoming Chef Newman Miller of Bardstown, Kentucky to the 2nd annual Oxford Uncorked Wine Festival.

Known for his deep respect for Southern ingredients, bourbon country hospitality, and elevated approach to regional cuisine, Chef Newman brings the spirit of Kentucky to Oxford for an unforgettable weekend of food and wine.

Chef Newman is the Chef and Partner at Mr. Tubs and Scout and Scholar in Bardstown. Before launching his current ventures, Newman served as Executive Chef of Star Hill Provisions at Maker’s Mark as well as the historic The Harrison-Smith House in Bardstown. Many may also recognize him from his appearance on Top Chef.

We’re excited to welcome James Rahn Wine Co. to the 2nd annual Oxford Uncorked Wine Festival this July!

James Rahn has become one of the most compelling voices coming out of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, crafting thoughtful, site-driven wines from organically farmed vineyards with a philosophy centered around balance, transparency, and pure drinkability. His wines lean low-alcohol, food-friendly, and are expressive of both vineyard and vintage — the kind of bottles that make you want to sit at the table a little longer.

James found his way into the wine world through restaurants and hospitality before eventually heading to Oregon, where he fell in love with the energy and authenticity of the Willamette Valley. What began as a deep curiosity about wine evolved into a passion for farming, fermentation, and crafting wines that reflect place without unnecessary manipulation.

If you love authentic producers, cool-climate wines, and winemakers who don’t take themselves too seriously while still making seriously delicious wine, you’re going to want to spend some time with James this year.

Please join us in welcoming Ron Stanfield of Boutique Wines to the 2nd Annual Oxford Uncorked Wine Festival.

With more than 25 years deeply rooted in the world of Willamette Valley wine, Ron has built a portfolio centered around what we love most at High Cotton — small production, organically farmed, thoughtfully made wines with real personality and a sense of place.

Through Boutique Wines, Ron represents producers like Out of Necessity, McKinlay, Jacob Martin, and James Rahn — wineries focused on craftsmanship over scale and authenticity over trends.

And while the wines may come from Oregon, there’s a Southern connection here too. Ron’s Alabama roots bring a little Southern hospitality to the Pacific Northwest wine scene, and we’re excited to have him bringing these incredible wines to Oxford.
