اللقاءات الفنية مش بس مجرد مساحة للعرض ولكن هي فرصة حقيقية عشان نبني معرفة مشتركة.

من خلال الملتقى الدولي للفنون العربية المعاصرة، وبدعم من المجلس الثقافي البريطاني وبالتعاون مع منصة "ما بين بين"، قدرنا نخلق مساحة اتجمعت فيها وجهات نظر مختلفة. اسمعوا فنانينا بيحكوا لنا عن قيمة الوجود في دوائر بتسمح بتبادل الخبرات وتداول المعرفة، وإن وصوتنا مع بعض دايماً بيبقى له أثر أعمق.

In a time where everything around us is shifting and slipping away, artistic gatherings are no longer just about showcase; they are essential spaces for us to find meaning in what we experience and build shared knowledge.

Through the Arab Arts Focus, with the support of the British Council and in collaboration with the IN BETWEEN platform, we created a space where diverse perspectives converged. Hear our artists reflect on the value of being part of circles that allow for the exchange of experiences and the circulation of knowledge, and that our collective voice always carries a deeper impact.

من خلال الملتقى الدولي للفنون العربية المعاصرة ومهرجان "ما بين"، كنا شاهدين على ميلاد رؤى فنية جديدة وهي لسة بتتشكل. والنهاردة، بنشوف ٦ عروض أصلية من فنانين عرب ناشئين ضمن فعاليات برنامج "العروض الأولى ٢ مع البقية تأتي" — بالتعاون مع سفارة فرنسا — على مسارحنا في القاهرة وإسكندرية، وبتبدأ طريقها للمهرجانات والجولات الدولية. بنشكر المجلس الثقافي البريطاني على الشراكة في بناء جسور مستدامة.

In partnership with the British Council through their festival, IN BETWEEN. We have powerfully showcased the vitality of contemporary Arab arts, featuring both established artists and cultural practitioners, as well as emerging talents.

As we look back, we reflect on our support for six emerging Arab artists whose pitches we platformed through the "Premieres II x 2B Continued" program, a collaboration with the Embassy of France in Egypt. With these artists now premiering their shows in Cairo and Alexandria, we see a clear success story.

This achievement is a testament to our work in fostering sustainable growth and developing the essential infrastructure needed for contemporary Arab art to secure a leading role in global conversations.

Beyond the performances and the stages, the most vital work often begins simply by being in the same room. By facilitating shared spaces for dialogue and reflection, we bridge the distance between our different realities and artistic practices.

Our international delegates reflect on how the Arab Arts Focus, supported by the British Council and in collaboration with the IN BETWEEN platform, creates these essential moments of institutional and personal connection. It is through these creative intersections that we find the "productive way" to ask the difficult questions that define our time.

بعيداً عن العروض والمسارح، غالباً بيبدأ العمل الأهم من وجودنا في نفس المكان. من خلال تيسير مساحات مشتركة للحوار والتأمل، بنقدر نقرب المسافات بين واقعنا وممارساتنا الفنية.

In a reality where our cities and memories are slipping away, art creates an essential space to process the weight of what we’ve lost.

This year's Arab Arts Focus was a testament to the power of our diverse voices, each one an act of resilience, each one a form of resistance. And with the support of the British Council, and their IN BETWEEN platform these voices didn't just speak; they claimed their space, shaping a new and unapologetic future for our culture.

We're still here.

Art doesn't provide easy answers. Sometimes, its most vital role is to bear witness.

In partnership with the British Council, we present art that isn't afraid to ask: artworks that are, in themselves, acts of resilience. Where we connect, not in comfort, but in our shared strength to confront difficult truths, and oppressing forces.

الفن مش بيقدم إجابات سهلة. أحيانًا، بيكون دوره الأهم يشهد على وجودنا، على صمودنا، على ثقافتنا ومجتمعاتنا، وإننا لسة مكملين في وش النسيان. والحروب، والقمع.

بالشراكة مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني، بنقدم فن مش بيخاف يسأل وبنخلق لقاءات ملهمة بتجمعنا، مش حوالين راحتنا، بس حوالين تأملاتنا والأسئلة اللي لازم نسألها عشان نقدر نواجه الصعاب.

A thriving arts scene is built on a strong community. That's why our program of presentations and panels, created in partnership with the British Council, is so vital. It's a dedicated space for artists and thinkers to exchange ideas, boost their creativity and resilience, and forge new collaborations. This is where the foundation for a sustainable and active cultural life is laid.

مشهد فني قوي بيتبني على أساس مجتمعي. عشان كده، برنامج الجلسات الحوارية والندوات، اللي بنقدمه بالشراكة مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني، هو جزء أساسي من مهمتنا. إننا نخلق مساحة مخصصة للفنانين والمبدعين عشان يتشاركوا الأفكار، ويبنوا شراكات فنية جديدة. هنا بيتحط أساس لقطاع ثقافي مستدام.
