Sayed Saad Eldin
Despite its modernity, abstraction could not succeed in reducing the music of its transparent colors, which refuse to open windows in the palette of color from which a cry of crimson red, or a glowing orange, or a plea of blue swallowed by the Nile of Upper Egypt, would emerge, nor would the drama of myths of a reality shrouded in the details of a lover's whisper to his beloved, or the whisper of a girl who decided to keep her secret to another who shares with her the silt of her village and the alienation of her dream, so that with that whisper she might wipe away a sorrow that seeps towards them from walls resembling the walls of cemeteries where the poor sleep or where the dream of the wretched dwells, so that its breaths rise towards them.
