Fekra Cultural Center, in collaboration with Egyptians Without Borders Foundation (), proudly hosted a Youth Camp for young people ages 12-15. This camp is part of their 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, and it is designed to raise awareness of gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights, and self-understanding among youth.
Through workshops, discussions, and skill-building activities, they’ll learn to navigate the complexities of their evolving identities, design interventions to combat school-based gender violence, and ultimately ensure a safe, sustainable, and violence-free environment for all.

‎والذى تنفذه مصريين بلاحدود فى اطار أنشطة حملتها ١٦ يوم للقضاء على العنف ضد المرأه
‎ينفذ هذا المعسكر مع الفئه العمريه من ١٢ ل١٥ عام بهدف تعزيز الوعى لديهم بمفاهيم المساواة فى النوع الاجتماعي والتعريف بحقوقهم الصحيه والانجابيه وفهم ذاتهم وتقبل التغيرات التى تطرا عليهم فى مرحلة المراهقه
‎كما يستهدف المعسكر تطوير مهاراتهم الحياتيه لمساعدتهم على تصميم تدخلات مختلفه تسهم فى انهاء العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي فى البيئة المدرسيه لضمان بيئة تعليمية آمنه ومستدامه وخاليه من العنف ضد الجميع

The College of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage was invited to the art installation of "Cooking Sunshine" by Mina Nasr and Lamis Haggag where they have created an artistic installation for heating food using the sun in Fekra in Aswan. They have also invited us to share food heritage (traditional Nubian okra, sun-dried molokhiya, sun bread, and Karkade) and its relation with cooking with the sun. They have also engaged us with their creative research on the relationship between the sun and food heritage production.
