A few moments from Moson Model Show 2026.
An inspiring event filled with extraordinary craftsmanship, great conversations, and countless ideas.
From armor and aircraft to dioramas and historical miniatures — everywhere you looked there was passion, research and artistry. It was especially exciting to see how many modelers approach history not just as a subject, but as storytelling.
Moson once again proved why it is such a special meeting point for the modeling community.
More impressions to come — and yes, seeing several Chernobyl-related works here gave us even more motivation to keep pushing forward with our own book project.

Spent an inspiring day at Moson Model Show — and what an experience it was.
So many outstanding builds, incredible craftsmanship, and a real celebration of scale modeling at its best.

Especially exciting for us was seeing several impressive Chernobyl-themed models — a reminder of how deeply this subject resonates within the modeling community. The attention to detail and historical passion on display was simply amazing.
Events like this give even more energy to keep moving forward with our own project.

🚀 100% FUNDED — THANK YOU!

Here’s another preview from the book:

UAZ-469B with license plate 33 01 KHA
Reconstruction based on a photograph taken during the 40th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Pripyat, May 9, 1985.
The front banner reads: “Glory to the People of Victory.”

Victory Day parades held great significance in the Soviet Union — not only as commemorative events, but as powerful displays of unity and state ideology. Even civilian and service vehicles became part of this visual language.

For such occasions, vehicles were often decorated with political slogans and natural elements — typically spruce, pine, or birch branches. These improvised details gave them a ceremonial, almost festive character, while still reflecting a distinct Soviet aesthetic.

Work on the book is ongoing, and your support gives us even more motivation to move forward and bring this project to its final form.
