🌍 The Mathematics Tour: A Global Journey Comes to an End 🎶

After 3.5 years, over 160 shows and performances across 5 continents, EdSheeran’s Mathematics Tour officially wrapped up in Düsseldorf on September 7th, 2025—marking the end of an era for one of the most iconic tours in music history.

From its start in Dublin in April 2022, the tour brought unforgettable moments to millions of fans worldwide, blending raw musical talent with groundbreaking visuals. At Evoke Studios, we were thrilled to help shape this experience, creating content for 10 songs and pushing creative boundaries with motion capture for a dancing couple and photogrammetry of Ed Sheeran to deliver spme of the visuals. Beyond content, we also programmed the show and consulted on the media server system.

A huge thank you to Ed, Mark Cunniffe & his team to have us onboard and to all the collaborators who made this tour a masterpiece of music and innovation. What an incredible journey! 🎉

🚆 After an inspiring evening at the frame:work community event in London on Thursday, our Co-Founder Urs Nyffenegger headed down to Southampton the next morning to visit Solent University—thanks to their kind invitation.

He had the pleasure of touring their impressive campus, starting with the Warsash Maritime School Simulation Centre at Solent University, Southampton Campus, where Urs explored eight full-scale freight ship simulators used for advanced nautical training at the Warsash Maritime School. These simulators — soon to be upgraded with new Unreal Engine-powered software — were a fascinating example of how immersive tech and real-world applications come together.

From there, Urs got to dive into more of their creative and tech-driven departments:

🕺 Motion Capture Studio
🧍♂️ Photogrammetry rig for human scanning
📽️ Stop Motion department..and a strong focus on XR, VP, simulations, and storytelling across multiple mediums.

It’s inspiring to see such a forward-thinking approach to use the same technology that is driving both creative media and maritime education—a unique blend that sets Solent apart.

Cornucopia is live in concert film right now! A visionary blend of sound, performance and art, featuring music from Utopia, Vulnicura & Fossora. The stunning visuals by Tobias Gremmler, Andrew Thomas Huang, and more. Directed by Ísold Uggadóttir, this film captures the magic of the tour in all its immersive beauty.

Chema (co-founder & HOCW at Evoke Studios) has been a part of this amazing touring team since 2019. The tour stopped in Lisbon for a special show which was filmed and can be seen in a cinema near you today! A huge honour for us to collaborate with such a legendary artist once again and a lot of fun for Chema on the road 🌏✨

Da Vinci Genius, the internationally acclaimed immersive art experience, opened its doors to the public last week in Tallinn. This unique collaboration brings together Berlin-based design studio Studio für Design. flora&faunavisions, GRAMMY-nominated producer Sasha, and the world-class core Da Vinci Genius creative team.

The interactive exhibition masterfully combines cutting-edge modern art, expansive high-resolution screens, and a custom-composed score with breathtaking renditions of Leonardo da Vinci’s most renowned masterpieces, delivering an unforgettable, fully immersive experience.

Evoke Studios were brought on board by our partners by Lex Concept I Design I Control and Visual Solutions bvba and have been responsible for consulting, planning & the setup of the video and sensor technologies for the show. We have helped it come to life across the globe: This amazing show is currently running across the world in Miami, Mumbai and now in Tallinn!

We just returned from an incredible few days in the charming city of Breda, Netherlands. At Breda University of Applied Sciences , specifically at the BUas we participated in the fantastic . It was an enriching experience where we connected with many fascinating individuals from diverse backgrounds, all enthusiastic about the future of virtual production.

The event was divided into two days: an education day filled with valuable insights into nurturing future talents, and an industry day featuring hands-on demonstrations and speeches that provided deep insights into the latest trends and technologies shaping the industry. The gathering was exceptionally well-organized and featured several high-profile speakers.

A big "thank you" goes out to the organizers, especially Zoltan Batho, for putting together such an outstanding event. Also to Chaos for showing a demo of their new real time rendering product Arena and Assimilate LiveFX on a VP stage.

We’re already looking forward to next year's gathering and the continued evolution of virtual production.

🎸🌟 At the end of last year, Chema from Evoke Studios had the incredible opportunity to join Lenny Kravitz's South American tour! After he did all the creative video programming on the show in June, it was time to tour the South American continent. From Brazil to Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and finally Mexico, Chema managed the video operations during each performance.
