Fun fact about this look:
Shortly before our opening, our costume designer was nowhere to be found… so somehow, I had to create this headpiece myself.
All the material used was found in the local ferretería of Las Terrenas 😅
Creativity is not about having everything.
It’s about refusing to give up when all you have is an idea and a deadline.
And so I became a costume designer…

This is my humble tribute to Thierry Mugler’s insect collection, the genius I had the privilege of working with during my time with Cirque du Soleil.
