Cabral Douglas obtained his LLB from City University in London in 2004. He subsequently moved to Sydney Australia where he worked as corporate lawyer for 7 years before returning to Dominica 2013. Upon his return, he refurbished and reopened the historic Arbeedee cinema built by his grandfather, the late Robert Bernard Douglas in 1970.
