At FællesSkabet Kolding, artist Tanha Rubaiat Zuha facilitated a creative Food Waste Art Workshop in collaboration with Food Reformers. The workshop introduced participants to sustainable art-making by transforming everyday kitchen ingredients such as coffee, matcha, and turmeric into natural paints. Through hands-on experimentation, participants explored color, creativity, and environmental awareness while discovering how food waste can be reimagined as a beautiful artistic resource. University of Southern Denmark (SDU kolding) 1st year 2nd semester submission project of Anticipatory Design 🫶

Exploring the concept of “World Making” through AI-generated storytelling 🌍✨

Our team developed a speculative visual narrative using a combination of AI generative tools including Pika, PixVerse, Google Gemini, and Higgsfield. Later edited via Adobe Premiere pro in our videolab. The project focused not only on creating visuals, but also on building an entire fictional world through collaborative design processes.

To shape the story and visual direction, we used methods such as:
• Design fiction writing exercises
• Silent brainstorming
• Sketching and storyboarding
• Affinity diagramming
• Quick & dirty prototyping

We also experimented with photography and reference-making to help AI tools better understand and translate our vision into cinematic sequences.

The final clips were edited and refined with sound design and music in Adobe Premiere Pro, bringing the imagined world to life.

This project became an exciting exploration of how AI can collaborate with human creativity, design thinking, and storytelling to create immersive experiences. ✨🫶❤️💖🤍🤎
