GREENLAND EYES HUGELY RECOMMENDS to support the 'Refugee Child' campaign with any amount you can spare. Children are literally hours from death in Lesvos, Greece. The rain has been relentless. If you try to donate and it fails 1st time please try again, there's a bug with paypal that means some payments are failing. The group "Refugee Child" is trying to help as much as they can. CALLING ALL FILM MAKERS!!!!!

We are collaborating with the Mobile Film Festival who this year have announced that the theme of their Festival is 'Act on Climate Change'

They are looking for 1 Minute films shot on a mobile and the winning film maker will receive a €30,000 grant. The deadline for entry is the 28th September and further. Further details can be found in the following short Video and by the following the link:

Yesterday we finished 'Greenland Eyes Act 3 of 3’ in Washington D.C. with screenings at the Smithsonian Institutes National Museum of Natural History, one of the world’s largest and most important museums.

The last three years have been such an incredible and intense journey and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the gifted individuals and institutions with whom we have worked - the fantastic artists and researchers and the wonderful film-makers who have made every event so enjoyable and rewarding. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the sponsors of the festival, without whom there would be no Greenland Eyes.

And finally, thank you to all of the people who have followed and supported us – the messages that we have received have been truly inspiring and uplifting.

We are taking a break from Greenland Eyes for the foreseeable future in order to concentrate on new projects and we want to wish everyone all the very best.

Please take good care of yourselves and each other.

Saturday the 9th May

Almost 5,000 people visited the Danish embassy and the Greenland representation today as part of the EU Open House weekend in Washington D.C. A huge perecentage of them took the opportunity to see one or more Greenland Eyes films and learn more about the Greenland Film Workers Association FILM.GL.

Thank you to everone who came and made the day so special and we begin again tomorrow, at the Smithsonian N.M.N.H. at 12:00.
