A Sustainable Closet reached out to ask me about sewing & sustainability, read the whole interview on their website (link in bio) 🌺🌱 Thank you for interviewing me for ! And thank you my love for being my model, photographer and biggest supporter. Thanks to my creative sister for catching the first glimps of my sewing journey back in 2018 in your magic way in the video that A Sustainable Closet asked to repost. My latest corset was a custom denim piece for musician . I made a surprise for her and made the inside in Hello Kitty fabric since the piece is reversible and how cute isn’t denim and pink. Couldn’t be more 90s. Reused denim & upcycled kids bed linen 💥
I am not taking any new orders right now because school starts in two days! 😱

Forgot to post this little photo series of my new blue knit dress at Aros Museum ✨ My favorite summer night outfit are just like this; short dresses with big sleeves and thigh high boots. I improvised the dress with a pattern I made from my own measurements on Pattern Lab London and the fabric I found at Pisa Market; a piece of dead stock fabric from the surrounding clothing factories. It’s very seldom that I found big knit fabrics second hand so I was so excited to finally find some that I could make new knit wear for my summer and autumn wardrobe. Knits can be tricky to sew in but really fun when you get the hold of it because fitting isn’t as crucial. 📷

Giving you a little selfie corset video to celebrate the fact that I found something that I want and that wants me. The 1st of September I will start my education to get a degree in Design, Technology & Business with Pattern Design as special field! 💥 Finally I get to full time nerd what I love and get to know that one thing that I have found hard to teach myself; pattern design. I will finally be able to create my own patterns, make them in all wanted sizes and digitalize them through CAD, CLO3D and Adobe illustrator. And of course share them with you! 💓 because I have always been the most passionate about teaching others to sew. And to do it in a sustainable way. But I also love designing just not for sewing and selling that much. But I LOVE the idea of making my designs in to patterns and sharing them so others can sew the same. Let’s see what will happen 💞🌱✅

I made a in-the-middle-of-the-night top for Charlotte for the weekends wedding. This pink lace is one of very few fabrics in my stash that I bought new and it’s a piece I have been saving for a long time for a special project. It was a piece I bought in Italy for a dress I made when I was just starting to learn how to sew and had seen this wool Valentino dress with lace lining and I wanted to make one for myself. I love love lace but I am also very specific with what I like since I spent 10 years in the lingerie business. But this lace is just wow! 💓💥

And I could of course not ship this baby away without a photoshoot! I also made this dress for Arantxa to go with the corset but unfortunately the dress ended up too see-through for TV 🙊 I would love to sew more stage clothing I really enjoyed to process of making something that would support someone to shine and be seen by many people. And to learn what works and what doesn’t work on stage and when performing. It makes me thrive to live out my dream of coloring the world on a larger scale. So if you know any more famous people that are looking for cool stage wear; hit me up 👻 the dress was sewn with lettuce hem one of my favorite techniques that makes the hems all ruffled like 🥬.

Tomorrow at 20 on Swedish national television ( ) you will be able to see the design I made for when she is performing at one is Sweden’s biggest television shows “Allsång på Skansen”. I can not put into words how absurd it feels that my design will be broadcasted to so many people. I am so happy and thankful for Arantxa who asked me to sew something for her, for her trust and great taste. And for nonna who is my biggest supporter, that cheered on my everyday, kept me company and was my sewing assistant. The outfit is 98 % made of reused materials and made on Nonna’s 50 year old sewing machine. And for everyone else that applied to a school this year and like me didn’t get in; never stop doing what you love, the ~ internet ~ is full of opportunities you will eventually find your way.

Found this very -ish / 90’s Gaultier newspaper fabric with laundry instructions at the market and fell in love. Working on a full set but mean while here you have me enjoying Nonna’s garden in the corset 🦋This is also the first time I made a corset pattern from scratch! 🏝

Another magical summer dress! My best friend is getting married this summer so I am making a whole weekend collection for the occasion. I have been saving this fabric for so long for the perfect project and I am so happy I did. The fabric is from and was dead stock and gifted to me by 💛 the dress pattern is the Pencil dress with puff sleeves and I added a ribbon in the back for the sleeves not to fall of my shoulders. I don’t use that many tight dresses because I need to be able to move but the shirring in the back of this dress makes it stretchy and comfortable.

Fabric manipulation is so much fun 🌟If you haven’t tried shirring yet I can highly recommend it, it’s really not that hard. All you have to do is buy elastic thread, wind it up on a bobbin by hand and sew with a straight stitch with long stitches, with a normal thread on top. You might also have to raise the tension on your machine, that little wheel with numbers that you otherwise don’t need to touch that often. has a really good video on her Instagram on how she does it and this piece is also for one of her patterns; the pencil dress. You can also watch me do it in my latest YouTube video! Shirring adds elasticity to an otherwise stiff fabric and is a great supplement for a zipper and also makes the dress more comfortable. Comment if you have any questions around it 💞
