Sneak peek: Comic Agilé no. 162 - Features vs. Enablers

If you haven’t managed to build-in technical quality in your product, then remember to prioritize enablers in your sprints, so you reduce your Technical Debt. If your PO says “yeah, do whatever enablers you need, as long as you still meet the deadlines”, then educate them on why there is only ONE capacity and ONE backlog.

Thus, a given enabler will be made INSTEAD of given feature, which might actually impact the scope of the next delivery/release, but might also increase the product quality, NFRs and future feature delivery lead time.
