Another long dream of mine is about to become true. My own gallery and workshop space.

There will be a public gallery, workshop space and a private studio for my own art.

Plans are for a gallery opening end of October. Workshops will start in the Fall break. Very excited.

The first show will be "Liebstedter Ansichten". I'll keep you posted.

I am offering art therapie at Children's Oncology Center in Erfurt. I am astonished every time by the power and perseverance of the little patients there. A special milestone today - last chemo and an art project, making use of the last IV bag.

With all the craziness of moving from the US to Germany and rebranding the business I am so happy to continue working on very rewarding projects. Thanks Shlomo and Shifra Klein and also a big kudos to Sierra Club Magazine to continue their mission. Excited to be a part it. Shhhhh.... working on a big feature for the upcoming issue.

Ilmtal-Radweg: From Weimar to Eberstedt

Spring is here and I am looking forward to work on the restauration of my little farm. Maybe there will be time to hop on the bike too. The farm is only two miles to the famous Ilmtal Radweg (Ilm valley bike route). A 126km path that winds through charming villages, by castles and old fortesses. So come and visit.

From Weimar the Ilm-Valley Cycle Route leads over Tiefurt and Oßmannstedt to Eberstedt with its unique swimming hut village.

As I am starting to plan to build out the farm, we are also busy creating beautiful magazines and collaterals. Big thanks to all of our clients that kept us going.

Finally! Just as the arctic temperatures dip deep into the single digits here, I got my closing date to get the little farm. Next Tuesday 10am. Fingers crossed the pipes are not freezing in and the roof holds up. Have not had a chance to go and check on the farm since my car got burried in 40 inch of snow Monday. Almost time to roll up the sleeves...lots of demo to do!

Legal paperwork connected with the sale of the farm are moving at snails pace.

I found out that a Bausachverständigungsgutachten (home inspection report) apparently charges by the length of the word and sets me back 3k€. Ouch.

Once my shock clears, I hope I get it back negotiating a lower sales price.

Lesson learned: Do not make assumptions of old experiences in new circumtances. You are not in Kansas anymore....

Meanwhile I found a roofer. I am ready for the keys!

And best of all - Kunstfarm Werkstatt is working on a beautiful PA Lifestyle magazine and the biggest Jewish cooking magazine in the Tri-State area. Stay tuned....

As I wait to be back in Germany and view the possible farm houses to buy, I'm spending time on Pinterest for ideas. Oh so much fun! I can not wait to start the remodeling.

We now have a logo. Took a bit, but here it is. The website still needs a bit of love, time and domain changes, but it's on its way.

Covid put a stop to more farm viewings for now and I will return to the U.S. for a month. However I could not resist a local pottery and got dishes for the B&B. Now I have to find that special place to put these beauties to work.
Talk about putting the carriage before the horse... in this case dishes before the table🤗
