In the summer of 2004, publication of the first Travian game laid the foundation stone for the creation of one of the most successful companies in the German games industry. Founded as a non-trading partnership at the beginning of 2005, Travian Games took on its current form as a limited liability corporation in the fall of 2005. The Bavarian games company has continued to grow and flourish since that date. Starting with just four employees, the company has grown dramatically in just a few years and now employs over 200 people.
