«Η νυχτερίδα» του Γιόχαν Στράους ήταν η πρώτη σας συνεργασία με την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή; Θα θέλατε να μας μιλήσετε για την εμπειρία σας αυτή;

„Ναι, τον περασμένο Φεβρουάριο ήταν η πρώτη μου συνεργασία με την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή. Είναι μεγάλη μου τιμή που επιλέχθηκα να υποδυθώ τον Πρέσβη της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης ΄Ορλόφσκι΄ μια από της πιο πασίγνωστες οπερέτες του κόσμου, την Νυχτερίδα, και αυτό στα ελληνικά, όπου η Ε.Λ.Σ. γιόρτασε τα 80 χρόνια από την ίδρυση της.
Χάρηκα πάρα πολύ που γνώρισα εξαιρετικούς και ταλαντούχους συναδέλφους, όπου από την πρώτη στιγμή δουλέψαμε σαν να γνωριζόμασταν χρόνια και πιστέψτε με αυτο σπανίζει στον χώρο. Εντυπωσιάστηκα με το συνεχές κατάμεστο από κοινό θέατρο, λαμβάνοντας μια πολύ θετική ενέργεια από το ελληνικό κοινό, έτοιμο να στηρίξει την Ε.Λ.Σ. στο Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος και τα υπόλοιπα χρόνια. Σε αυτό το σημείο θέλω να προσθέσω ότι νιώθω μια μεγάλη υπερηφάνεια και να πω σε όλους όσους πρόλαβα να γνωρίσω αλλά και όχι ένα τεράστιο μπράβο και καλή επιτυχία!“

Unsere nächste Veranstaltung - RWV Bamberg

Den musikalischen Teil des Abends bestreiten die junge Mezzosopranistin Taxiarchoula Kanati und der Pianist Stefan Schreiber. Die beiden Künstler aus Stuttgart werden nicht nur Richard Wagners Wesendonck-Lieder vortragen, sondern mit dem eigens dafür komponierten Liederzyklus „Tränen“ von Jochen Neurath auch eine veritable Uraufführung.

Der Zyklus „Tränen“ ist für Neurath die erste durchkomponierte Partitur nach einer längeren Phase, in der er in seinen Werken Performance-Elemente, Improvisatorisches und ausformulierte Passagen miteinander verbunden hat. Die „Live“-Erfahrungen aus den vorangegangenen Stücken sind allerdings deutlich in das neue Werk eingegangen. Die Texte – von Friedrich Hölderlin, August von Platen und Rainer Maria Rilke – bilden in vier Stationen, die einen Tageslauf durchschreiten, ein inneres Drama ab.

Die Musik ist laut Neurath eigens für die Interpreten der Uraufführung geschrieben und stellt diese vor hohe Anforderungen: „Der Part des Pianisten emanzipiert sich vom reinen Begleiter zu einem gleichwertigen Duo-Partner, und die Sängerin muss einerseits das voll Potenzial des dramatischen Mezzosoprans entfalten, andererseits in feinen Melismen oder gesprochenen Passagen sensibel die untergründigen Emotionen der Gesänge freilegen.“
