Making some pencil marks on a sketchbook page just for the sake of loving doing those scribbles - no other reason but feeling into what my body wants to do and my eye wants to see. So freeing to not please anyone but yourself, isn’t it?!

Some new works on paper

I love working on paper a lot. It’s great for investigating colors, layers and line and finding interesting areas.

If layers or areas appeal to me it is mostly because I can see parts of my (hi)story, of experiences there. I love discovering and understanding what it means to me.

This is a surge of energy: alive and immediate, yet soft and delicate. Opposites that exist in tension, drawing life from one another.

This work feels like movement caught mid-pulse: heat, urgency, and a fragile structure trying to hold itself together. Lines drift, collide, and re-form, as if the painting is thinking in real time.

It speaks of intensity without chaos, of energy that has direction, even when it trembles.
It brings vitality: warmth, momentum, a quiet reminder to stay awake to what is alive now.
