The Rock That Swing Festival is a truly unique event. It consists of 5 dance nights with live music, sho
ws, competitions and a comprehensive 5-day dance camp that helps you to develop your own unique style. Every evening, you can rock and swing to some of the hottest bands at stylish events and share unforgettable dances with your friends and dance enthusiasts from all around the world. The highlights of the Rock That Swing Festival are the two big dance nights with competitions, shows of the champions and the teacher's show at the beautiful and elegant Deutsches Theater in the city center of Munich. About fifty of the world's best instructors will offer a vast variety of 150+ classes. You can choose any combination of classes in Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Balboa, Shag, Tap, Vernacular Jazz, and Burlesque. The class material comprises moves, lead and follow techniques, musicality and rhythm for all levels from beginners to advanced dancers, and all the way up to teachers. Das Rock That Swing Festival ist eine wahrhaft einzigartige Veranstaltung. Es zelebriert die Vielfalt der Tänze und der Musik aus der Swing- und Rock'n'Roll-Ära der 20er bis 50er Jahre. Über fünf Tage hinweg schaffen stimmungsgeladene Abende, heiße Livemusik, Shows, Turniere, eine Vielzahl von Tanzworkshops und Tanzbegeisterte aus aller Welt eine mitreißende und unvergessliche Atmosphäre.
Über 50 der weltbesten Trainer ermöglichen ein riesiges Angebot an über 150 Kursstunden in Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Balboa, Shag, Rockabilly Jive, Stepptanz, Solo-Jazz und Burlesque. Es werden Grundlagen, Figuren, Führ- und Folgetechnik, Musikalität und Rhythmus für alle Niveaus geboten. Ob blutiger Anfänger, Fortgeschrittener oder Trainer, jeder kann sich seinen individuellen Stundenplan zusammenstellen.
