TEYA Juba Dispatches Second Major Humanitarian Mission to Panyagor

The leadership of the Twic East Youth Association (TEYA) in Juba, together with its Emergency Response Committee, Council representative and in coordination with the Nyan Cit Arialbeek branches and other TEYA branches, has today departed Juba for Panyagor on its second humanitarian mission.
This mission reflects TEYA Juba’s continued commitment to serving its people through practical action, particularly in response to urgent humanitarian needs and the ongoing resettlement of the Twic East population in dry and vulnerable areas.
The delegation is transporting essential relief and recovery items aimed at supporting health services, strengthening livelihoods, improving shelter conditions, and enhancing food security across affected communities.
The items being delivered include:
Assorted essential medicines and laboratory reagents (26 cartons)
Motorcycles (7) for youth empowerment and mobility support
Tarpaulin sheets (948 pieces, equivalent to 189.6 sets) for temporary shelter
Sorghum seeds (24 sacks) to support agricultural production
Assorted food items, including flour, cooking oil, beans, rice, lentils, and salt
Jelly shoes (600 pairs) for youth support and basic needs
This second deployment by the Emergency Response Committee demonstrates TEYA Juba’s unwavering dedication to the health, dignity, and wellbeing of the people of Twic East. It also underscores the Association’s proactive role in supporting recovery, resilience, and sustainable resettlement efforts.
