Inspired by my roots and nature I create 'one of a kind jewelry' with pieces I collect along my life journey. One piece at a time.

Beginning as a ballet dancer with an international career, I started to study the art of jewelry making and eventually created my own line of jewelry, Suzette-OneofakindJewelry. Receiving a recognition for my art from the Academy of Art in Munich, Germany, I show my pieces in exhibitions, fashion shows and also in chosen boutiques around the globe. On my frequent journeys, already as a child, I collect pieces for my creations. Not just stones but also; shell, glass, teeth, feathers and even trash that inspire me along my way. With this page, I tell the story of the individual pieces I am creating and will present here. I embody the professionalism of the west with traditional Eurasian heritage, inspired by the world, creating a modern interpretation of valuable, wearable jewelry art.

ARTMUC is this weekend!

I’ll be there each day showing parts of my collections including my butterfly wing pendants which I have been creating for over 20 years.

Did you ever watch, ´It’s Complicated’ with the gorgeous Meryl Streep ? She is wearing a butterfly wing pendant necklace throughout the entire film!

I guess it was the costume department. It doesn’t look like one of my creations, but I am smitten to see that such a great star must have loved wearing it!

Suzette Gabriel-Schoebitz creates these individually with natural butterfly wings sandwiched between 2 rock crystal cabochon, custom cut in Jaipur and framed in sterling silver or 18 karat gold and signed with her 18k gold beetle logo.

These ‘one of a kind jewelry’ pendants are created with butterfly wings from old entomology collections repurposed into wearable unique pieces of jewelry.

Yes, for my exhibit at ARTMUC, I will be showing some best sellers of my ‚trash to treasure’ collection created using repurposed beach tumble and collected discarded items turned into wearable unique pieces of jewelry art such as this collier ‘Rainbow‘, created with collected plastic rings, key loops of diverse metals.
