Delattre Dance Company Founded in 2012 and based in Mainz, the Delattre Dance Company has established itself as a leading modern ballet company on the international dance scene.

Executive Director: Martin Opelt Since the Delattre Dance Company (DDC) was founded by Stéphen Delattre and Martin Opelt in 2012, the ensemble has become an integral part of the evening events at the Mainzer Kammerspiele and has also been able to reach a large audience at international guest performances. Up to two new ballet/dance events are dev

eloped every year. In addition to the popular works of choreographer Stéphen Delattre, the DDC's diverse, aesthetic and emotional evening programmes are expanded to include creations by international guests such as Marco Goecke, Kevin O'Day, Douglas Lee, Bridget Breiner, Kenneth Tindall, Jörg Mannes and many more. This varied repertoire of contemporary choreographers has helped the Delattre Dance Company to establish itself as a truly special and exceptional contemporary company. The always line-based aesthetic and virtuosic technique of highly skilled classically trained ballet dancers serves as a springboard for a new product, a new expression in dance with modern aesthetics, physicality and choreographic dramaturgy that evolves the definition of contemporary dance today.

Last night, we celebrated our final performance of the season in front of a completely sold-out theatre, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the year, shared these special moments with us, and supported the Delattre Dance Company and the Evolution Dance Platform with such warmth and enthusiasm.

Your energy, applause, and loyalty inspire us every time we step onto the stage. It has been an incredible season, and we are truly thankful to have such a wonderful audience by our side.

Now it's time for a well-deserved summer break!
