It’s finally time to show you the sweater worn! 🥳

I’ve been working on this one for just a few days and I’m really happy with how the Deep Ocean, Orchid & Chili stripes came together.

But before I can release it, I need your help. I’m still looking for testers!

🧶 The pattern
• Top-down construction
• Folded neckline
• German Short Rows
• Raglan increases
• Seamless body & sleeves
• Long sleeves
• DK weight yarn
• Gauge: 17 sts × 25 rows = 10 cm / 4”
• To fit bust: 85–165 cm / 33½–65”

I’m especially looking for testers for the sizes that haven’t been claimed yet, so if you’re interested, please send me a DM with your usual bust measurement.

Testers will receive the pattern for free and will need to provide feedback throughout the test and photos of their finished sweater.

A new challenge has officially begun! 🧶

Last week I stepped into a slightly different role: teaching knitting & crochet to teenagers.

My first mission? Introducing a group of complete beginners to the wonderful world of yarn, hooks and needles. No previous experience, lots of curiosity and hopefully plenty of creative chaos along the way!

I’m starting with crochet because it’s a little more beginner friendly, but of course knitting is coming too. And yes… I already have plans for their first little projects!

It feels a little surreal to go from designing knitwear to teaching the next generation how to make it themselves. Let’s see where this adventure takes us! 😁

Today we started with scrunchies and they looooooooved it but, of course, I am open to any advices and project ideas! ☺️

Back home from the Wollcraft Festival with a huge smile, a very full heart… and a little festival loot, of course. 😂🧶

But what I brought home from the Wollcraft Festival is so much more than what you see in this photo!!

Thank you to every single one of you who came to say hello, hugged me, stopped for a chat, shared a laugh with me, bought one of my patterns or simply came over to tell me something kind. You have no idea how much these little moments mean to me. ❤️

One sentence in particular is staying with me. A super sweet exhibitor told me:
“Marina, keep bringing joy and laughter everywhere you go! Keep shining.” 🥺

I think I’m going to carry these words with me for a long time. 🤗

And yes… I did manage to do a little shopping too! 😂

Apparently summer holidays are over… and
I strongly disagree. 😂☀️

School starts tomorrow after six weeks of summer holidays and I’m sorry, but school before August 15th should simply be illegal. 😂

Anyone from a Mediterranean country, where we’re used to THREE months of summer holidays, please tell me you understand!

My little one is starting at a new school, so there are definitely some nerves and excitement around here!

The books are ready, the temperatures are still high and although I’m back home and finally able to work properly again… we miss the sea SO MUCH. 🌊

Meanwhile, something very secret is already growing on my needles. 🤫

Have I told you I’ve started working on my design for the Advent Calendar with the gorgeous yarns from Alte Künste - Margit Hofmann?

The colors are an absolute dream. And me? I knit, I frog, I knit again, I frog again… because apparently every time I think I’ve found THE idea, an even better one appears. 😂🧶

Back to school. Back to work. Still mentally somewhere by the sea… with Advent on my needles. ☀️🧶✨

After 5 weeks away, I’m finally back home! ☺️

These past weeks were full of beautiful moments, new ideas, lots of knitting and so much work happening behind the scenes. I’m excited to share everything with you very soon.

One of the highlights was this photoshoot with my dear friend Elena ᴱᴸᴱᴺᴬ ᵀᴱᴷᵀᴼᴺ. 💕Thank you for always capturing not only my designs, but also the emotions behind them. ❤️

Hello, August ☀️🌊

Grateful for a beautiful July spent in my homeland, surrounded by family and friends. For the sea, the music, the laughter and all those simple little moments that become the most precious memories!!

Grateful too for the wonderful new people I met this summer!

And now August arrives… the last great song of summer. A month to enjoy slowly, to collect a few more beautiful summer memories and to make space for new ideas and fresh inspiration.✨

Wishing you all a wonderful August, full of light, joy, rest and everything that makes your heart feel alive. 💕

And a little reminder from me:
knitting is not only for winter!
It is creativity, joy, self-expression and meditation all year round. 🧶

Some of my best ideas are born by the sea. 🌊🇬🇷

These days I’m taking a little time to slow down, enjoy my family and friends, listen to the waves… and dream.

Between swims and long conversations, I’m already planning the next Knitting in Greece Retreat, exploring new ideas and sketching new designs that I can’t wait to share with you.

There are so many beautiful things ahead and I feel incredibly grateful that I get to create them from a place that inspires me so deeply.

With the Aegean in front of me, beautiful Samothraki on the horizon and the people I love by my side… inspiration comes naturally. 💙

I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

I’ve been carrying something in my heart for weeks… ❤️

Ever since my first Knitting in Greece Retreat came to an end, I’ve wanted to write about it.
But somehow… I couldn’t.

Maybe because it all felt so magical that I was afraid putting it into words would make it disappear.

Now, I think I’m finally ready. ☺️

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing the whole story… the dream, the laughter, the challenges, the people, the hugs and the moments that I’ll carry with me forever!

It won’t just be a newsletter.
It will be a piece of my heart.
