Some designs carry memories!

“Mani” was created especially for my knitting retreat in Greece, that took place in Mani a few days ago.

Every participant received a project bag, the yarn needed for the shawl and the pattern as a welcome gift. 💙

A design that can be knitted with 1, 2 or more colors, bottom-up giving you the opportunity to choose the size! An absolutely customisable piece that you will enjoy knitting!

From small shawlettes to larger wraps, from one color to multiple colors, Mani is all about creativity and making it your own.

Right now, Mani is under testing, and I am already seeing some truly beautiful versions taking shape. Each one looks completely different, which is exactly what I had hoped for when designing it!

✨ Kallos ✨

At first glance, Kallos may look like a simple summer top.
But the entire design started with the shoulders.

I didn’t want to create just another tank top with straps. The lace panels were always meant to be the star of the design: gently “hugging” the shoulders and creating a silhouette that feels romantic, elegant and timeless!

When I was designing Kallos, I kept imagining the Princess of Wales wearing it with a beautiful skirt and a statement hat, walking through a summer garden. That image stayed with me throughout the entire design process. ☺️

Creating those dramatic V-shaped shoulder panels was much more challenging than it may seem. The lace had to flow naturally into the shaping, while the shoulders needed to sit perfectly in place, without slipping off and without pulling upward. That was a challenge!

It is one of those designs that looks effortless, but took many hours of knitting, calculations, adjustments, and swatching to achieve exactly the look I had in mind.

And I couldn’t be happier with the result. 💙

KALLOS 👑

One of my most elegant designs is back home. 💙

Originally published in Laine Magazine Issue 25, Kallos was inspired by the WOMEN!

Power and femininity.
Strength and grace.
Confidence and elegance.

I wanted to create a garment that feels timeless, effortless and beautiful to wear.
A top that makes you stand a little taller the moment you put it on.

The deep lace neckline embraces the shoulders softly, creating a silhouette that feels both regal and comfortable.

And that royal blue... 💙
It still steals my heart every time I see it.

For this sample, I used Trio 2, a beautiful blend that gives Kallos its soft drape and elegant movement.

We did it. ❤️

A year ago, this was just an idea!

A dream of bringing knitters together in Greece.
Of sharing my homeland, knitting under olive trees, enjoying long dinners, beautiful views, laughter, creativity and the kind of connections that only happen when people who share the same passion come together.

Last week, that dream became true.

My first Knitting Retreat in Mani was everything I hoped for and so much more! ☺️

I am incredibly grateful to every single person who trusted me, travelled from near and far and became part of this adventure.

Thank you for the laughter, the conversations, the knitting, the support and the memories!

My heart is full. ❤️

A special thank you to Natasja for her wonderful classes and for sharing her talent with all of us. You are a GREAT designer!

And to my dear friend Dimitra, who took care of the sightseeing and helped us experience the true spirit of Mani. 💕

For now, I just want to close my eyes and relive every moment. The dream, the hugs, the laughter, the knitting, the smiles that made this week so special.

I miss you already! 🤗

After many years of living abroad, this feeling never changes!

Today I arrived in Greece for my very 1st knitting retreat and the moment I stepped onto the balcony and saw this view, I couldn’t stop smiling!

Greece will always be home ❤️
The light, the sounds, the smell of the sea, summer!

My heart is full and I can’t wait to welcome and share this experience with everyone joining us in Mani this evening 💙🇬🇷🧶

I need to tell you the truth…☺️

I love so MUCH projects that every knitter can adapt to their own style and needs (of yarn)!

This one has my heart for many many reasons:
1. it’s my creation for my 1st Retreat happening next week! 💕
2. You can knit it with one or 2 colors!
3. Everybody loves lace…or should 😂
4. Everybody loves garter stitch…and here I am sure!
5. Feel free to make is smaller or bigger OR make less reps OR finish at ANY point!

This is my second version, in a DK yarn and I decided that I need to have one monochromatic version as well!

Using the yarn that my friend dyed exclusively for this event! 💕

The retreat design is ready 🇬🇷✨

I can’t show it yet because it’s going to stay a little surprise for our retreat participants… but I can already tell you that I absolutely love it 💙

It’s simple, relaxing to knit and going to work beautifully for my workshops as well!

And the funniest part?
I only started designing it last Sunday 😂

Now it’s time for a bigger version in these dreamy Bougainvillea and gold shades… in the softest merino/bamboo DK quality, hand dyed by my friend ✨

I will soon be looking for testers!

Slowly, the retreat design begins to bloom… 🌸✨

It took me a few days to fully find the direction I wanted for this piece, but now I can finally see it coming to life 🥰

A lace design created especially for our retreat in Greece 🇬🇷 meant to be knitted in one or multiple colors, depending on the mood and story you want to create!

And in this merino/silk blend…
the fabric almost glows in the light!

Soft, delicate, airy… ✨

I still have so much to knit, write and block…
but I already know this one is going to be very special 💕
