Niklas Edler has extended his lead at the Swedish OK Dinghy Championship after two more races on Saturday at Varbergs Segelsällskap. He convincingly won the opening race in very light winds before the wind died for two hours. When it came back in the race started in 10-12 knios but quickly increased to 20-24 knots. Daniel Björndahl led all the way to win and move up to second with Mikael Björndal now in third. Up to three races are possible on Sunday, with one more needed for a discard.

Remember how much fun you had at the World Championship; boy it was a lot of fun. Now you can have the same or more fun at the Europeans at Bruinisse (where there is guaranteed Dutch wind). Lots of entries coming in, but to make sure to get the best deal, and save some all important beer vouchers, early entry closes this week. It’s extended, but has to close soon.

Sebastian SCHMIDT-KLÜGMANN leads Kieler Woche after three races on Friday, following no racing on Thursday. Jesper BENDIX is second with Steen CHRISTENSEN third. The race wins went to Gabriel MEDEIROS KÖNIGSFELD, SCHMIDT-KLÜGMANN and Benjamin HAMMERÖ.
