Night walk in disappointingly boring brussels last night and I've hit two places which were less boring at a certain point. Since when 'summer' is the 'go' for not organising anything interesting, I wonder.

Anti/machine (anti/techno mix) was first written in these oneliners - and after that recorded and mixed by hypnoskull at anti/techno 27.7.2026 - with another, fully customised and complete live set-up.

We’ve been talking some days now on the subject of techno, techno and more techno. And how it is appropriated and abused by not only those above, but those below as well. For all the wrong, mainly selfish reasons obviously. So, after all the talking, it is time for some action here. And yes, I for long detested to use snares in here. It was ‘too frivolous’ to me. I have to admit that the small insertion of the snares right here at the section where they drop in became brutal. Never avoiding the confrontation with what bothers.

Hypnoskull is an anti/machine since 1992. And ongoing.

Last friday, I did some talking, on invitation by radioshow 'Petit Salon' on longtime active and legendary community Antwerp-based radio station Radio Centraal - about an explosive insta post which caused quite a bit of 'business techno fuzz', about appropriation of a genre, about free havens, spaces. About the collectives, those driving forces which I love, all of them. About illegal events. About neocon politics trying to copy/paste authoritarian rules without whatsoever reflection. About selling public spaces to commercial events. Not sitting on the stairs of the KMSKA in Antwerp by accident, by the way. 'Welcome to my not-so-subtle-world'. In dutch. Subtitled. Or is that 'sidetitled' here?

dystopian engines of google earth glitched in a moloch, rising from the vanished places, histories, lives. It has never brought many good if you cannot live alongside the past.

so truly, by the time you will have reached the end of this reel, if you can at least, the start is your nearest secured past and the next thing which intrudes through the algorithm is your insecure future.

When a rather famous German artist gets uninvited for an interview on the German official broadcaster ZDF because of the lyrics of one certain song and it causes an avalanche of views, discussion on freedom of the arts, instead of questioning the why of his call-out. In case still no one wants to see it: there's (again) a potential takeover of the political far right in Germany. We all know what that means. So, gladly adding to the freedom of the arts by posting it as well.
