Nachtkreatur is a German experimental black metal project dedicated to the depths of the human psyche and the fascination with decay. Founded by Graf Ares and Køldbrynger, the band combines raw aggression, atmospheric darkness and an uncompromising, unsettling aesthetic.
Nachtkreatur’s music is an expression of inner turmoil – a ritual of pain, rage and madness. Lyrics about dehumanisation, mental illness and life as a cursed creature run like a thread through their work. With their debut album Kreaturenkrankheit, Nachtkreatur create a soundscape that oscillates between frenzy and despair – raw, honest and born deep from the darkness.
