I've been a little quieter here lately.

Not because I've stopped creating.

But because my family and I are preparing for a new chapter.

In just a few weeks, we'll be moving into our new home — an old house full of potential, memories waiting to be created, and a space that will one day become the new Happy x Craft studio.

There is still a lot of work ahead: renovation, painting, planning and building our dream home step by step.

Life feels a little chaotic right now, but also incredibly exciting.

I'm still creating, still stitching, still dreaming.

And I can't wait to take you along on this journey.

The next chapter of Happy x Craft is being built right now — literally.

From a tiny sketch...
Through colours, symbols, and countless tiny stitches, a new design slowly came to life.
Inspired by folk motifs and the beauty of traditional ornament, this pattern tells a story of roots, creativity, and connection.
A folk garden full of stories.
Blooming Folk Garden soon in my shops...

I’ve been working on my traditional blouse "ia" for two years.

Not every day. Not fast. Not perfectly.
But I never gave up on it.

I already have two finished shoulder pieces, and for the past week… I’ve been unpicking and stitching again.
At first, I chose an ochre-orange thread, but it just didn’t feel right. It wouldn’t sit the way I wanted.
So I changed it. I chose a soft wool-cashmere thread — gentler, calmer… closer to what I feel.

And once I changed the thread, my whole vision shifted.
I now see the pattern differently. I understand it differently.
And I can already picture the final blouse.

I’m moving forward in small steps.
Because life is full — a job, three kids, a household, a business…
But I made a promise to myself: one hour a day, just for me.

For quiet.
For patience.
For the joy of creating with my own hands.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes.
What matters is not giving up.

And I know this for sure: I will wear it.

Before words… there were symbols.
Cross stitch is more than a craft.
It’s a language. A quiet one.
One that doesn’t need translation.
Across cultures, across time…
women have used thread to tell stories,
to protect, to express, to remember.
And somehow…
we still understand it today.
Maybe that’s why it feels so calming.
So familiar.
Like something your hands already know.

If this speaks to you…
maybe it’s time to try it yourself.

Yesterday is a memory.
Tomorrow… still unknown.

But this —
this moment,
this quiet stitching time —
is mine.

Cross stitch reminds me
to slow down,
to breathe,
to be here.

Because today is a gift.
And sometimes…
all you need
is a needle, a thread,
and a little silence

Stitching something special…

This is the beginning of
The Tree That Remembers

A pattern I’m creating as a gift
for those who choose to be part of this journey.

Each stitch carries a story.
Each symbol… a meaning.

And this is how it starts —
quietly, slowly,
with thread and intention.

If you feel drawn to this…
you’ll understand when it’s ready

Seeing your stitches come to life will never stop feeling special to me 💛
This beautiful sunflower was stitched by using one of my patterns, and watching her progress frame by frame brought me so much joy.
Every time someone chooses to create from my designs, it means more than you probably realize. Thank you for trusting my work, my colors, and my creative world.
And to all Happy x Craft stitchers —
don’t be afraid to share your progress and finished pieces with me 🌿
I love seeing them, and I’ll always be happy to feature your work here and celebrate your creativity together with our community.
Thank you for stitching these stories forward ✨
