Rawtrip

A dance company by Melissa Kieffer and Alica Minar. Rawtrip GbR
is a young artist* group based in Berlin and Freiburg since 2021.

Our work focuses on combining strong visual and physical techniques based on embodiment practices. We engage with challenging and troubling contemporary issues that can provoke and bring to light our unconscious thoughts and memories. Exploring these themes at the intersection of abstraction and narrative, we create dance projects and offer workshops, focusing on work with professionals, general audiences, and also youth and children. The location of the company in the triangle Freiburg - Basel - Strasbourg reflects an international orientation. In the long term, we want to create a platform for artists from different disciplines - a meeting place for exchange, networking and mutual support.
