It is beautiful sunny day today. I enjoyed my relaxing Saturday in Heidelberg. Saw some beautiful sun flowers on the way, so I made some sum flower inspired nerikiri. The filling is passionfruit, which is ideal for summee vibe! 😀

Sentimental Circus is a Japanese comic about abandoned stuffed animals. These forgotten toys accompany each other and prepare for their circus show time. Each character has their own act.

The one I made with passion fruit filling today is called “the Rabbit Shappo”. He always wears a black hat with needles and threads inside. The little dog sitting next to Shappo is Toto. He is Shappo’s closest companion. 😀

The sunny weather inspired me to make a beach nerikiri. Taiwan, my home country, is surrounded by mountains and oceans. In summer, there are great mountain resorts for cool fresh air and beaches for cool water to enjoy. In Japan, it is common to break a watermelon on the beach for fun.
