His numerous exhibitions in Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, Antwerp and Brussels stimulated interest, invited to lingering and contemplating and animated exchange. The artist's works express how he sees, feels and experiences the world. After his extensive "red phase", his trademark, he is ready to explore new fields. As a contrast to his

abstract works he submits himself to more delicate, more sensuous tasks in his lead, charcoal and pastel drawings. The new tools gave him new incentive to try something new, to enjoy experimenting, to go through the different stages, to inspire all senses, to find new ways and to experience diversity. Emotions are expressed, the challenge to work with different material enjoyed – every now and then even with soapstone. The contradicting views he had in the beginning when drawing he saw as a chance to live through different experiences. Drawing means creative work, immersion, mindfulness, concentration and patience. His drawings as well as his works in acrylics and stone reflect the path he has come from.
